Hideaway RV Resort

Overview

Hideaway RV Resort offers a peaceful escape within the bustling Grand Strand area. Located directly along the Intracoastal Waterway, this park provides a gated and secure environment for travelers looking to balance local excitement with evening tranquility. Unlike the high-density campgrounds found directly on the oceanfront, this resort is designed to feel like a private sanctuary where guests can relax and watch boats pass by from the comfort of their campsite. It represents a more refined side of the South Carolina coast.

Location & Surroundings

Situated on the southern end of Myrtle Beach, the park is tucked away from the neon lights and heavy traffic of the main tourist strip. The lush coastal vegetation and scenic water views create a serene atmosphere that feels worlds away from the city. While it offers a secluded vibe, the resort remains conveniently located near Highway 707 and the Waccamaw River area, making it easy for travelers to navigate larger rigs into the park without navigating tight city streets.

Amenities & Park Features

The resort boasts premium infrastructure, including oversized concrete pads and full hookup services at every site to accommodate modern big rigs. Visitors enjoy access to a sparkling resort-style swimming pool, clean climate-controlled bathhouses, and a dedicated pet park for four-legged travelers. The waterfront boardwalk is a standout feature, offering a perfect spot for morning coffee or viewing spectacular evening sunsets. The gated entrance ensures a quiet and controlled environment throughout the stay.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Guests are just a short drive from the pristine sands of Surfside Beach and the famous seafood restaurants of the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk. For those seeking world-class shopping and entertainment, Broadway at the Beach and the SkyWheel are easily accessible. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate being close to Brookgreen Gardens, which features expansive botanical displays and wildlife exhibits, or spending a day exploring the nearby Myrtle Beach State Park for hiking and fishing opportunities.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is an excellent choice for big-rig travelers who prioritize level sites, wide roads, and easy maneuverability. It is best suited for couples, retirees, and snowbirds who prefer a quiet, upscale atmosphere over the high-energy environment of beachfront mega-parks. Those who enjoy boating, photography, or simply a slower pace of life will find this resort to be the perfect home base for exploring the diverse attractions of the South Carolina coast.

Very nice little campground, and very friendly staff. We stayed for 3 nights, and the sight was very nice with concrete pad, picnic table, and fire pit. The campground is very well kept, and extremely quiet at night. We stopped in about a month ago to look at it, and the Lady in the office was incredibly helpful, and friendly, so we decided we would give it a try this weekend. I would definitely recommend this campground, and they have the best rates in Myrtle Beach.

Staying in my own RV on a very clean concrete pad. With its own fire pit and picnic table. The staff is very nice and friendly. Check-in is simple if you go to the right location. There is two gates going into this camp ground. If you go in off of River Road and 707 it is a simpler check in process. At the Duck pond Road gate you have to call for them to open that gate then drive all the way to the front to check in. The Bath houses stayed cleaned. The campground schedule different activities for kids and adults. The dog park was nice and clean really liked the grass.

We just spent a fun, relaxing few days here. The staff was friendly and helpful and the waterfront view of the Intercoastal was lovely-we enjoyed watching the boats go by. This resort is smaller and quieter than most in Myrtle Beach while still having a lot of amenities. We will definitely return.

This is one of our favorite RV resorts. Private bathrooms/showers, concrete pads, plenty of space between sites, and full hook-ups are just part of why we love it. This place is quiet and serene, but it also offers activities like bingo, live music, and water craft opportunities. We have two dogs and walking around the park is safe and enjoyable. They have doggie clean-up stations just in case you forget to grab your bags before your walk. Everyone on staff is super nice as are the guests. The facilities are clean and well maintained. I cannot say enough good about this place. The concrete pads help keep the RV clean and they also make it easy to level your RV. We have been here now twice and we will be back again. I love this place so much I now have three of their t-shirts that I wear proudly. 🤗

We just got back from our second visit this summer. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The park is clean, campsites are level and there is plenty of room. This trip, we had a waterfront site (#28) and it was perfect for watching the waterway traffic. If you want to camp at Myrtle Beach without being in a city of campers and noise, this is the perfect place.

We are here for a long-term stay. Had Thanksgiving dinner last night, potluck type ordeal, Kim and Dennis did an excellent job and I would recommend this campground to anyone looking for a positive family environment!!! Wonderful experience 👍👏🤗

Absolutely love this park! Pride in ownership shows in every corner of this smaller park as repairs and general maintenance are done daily to keep this place looking great. The resort is small, quiet and very well maintained. Each rv spot has a concrete pad, picnic table and fire ring. The two bunks of bathhouses are kept spotless as well. Located way off the beach but on the inter coastal so still able to enjoy the water if you'd like as they have a boat ramp, very small beach area, fishing docks and they rent kayaks, canoes and paddle boats as well. There is also a place next door that rents wave runners and boats too. This is a great place to stay for a very laid back, quiet and non stressful trip to Myrtle.
