The water is so calming, and the new Pavillion lends a charming amenity to the area. Great for a brisk walk, picnic, as well as letting your children play on the swings, etc.

This is a nice park. It has a lot of parking for boats and trailers, huge overflow parking up the hill a bit. There's a kids play park, a good bit of docks, and bathrooms up the hill. Parking could be a bit of an issue if you're not very mobile and there's a decent little incline to deal with, but there are steps. It's also right down the road from Lake Mitchell Marina & Grille, which I really enjoy.
