What a lovely midwestern gem! It’s an older campground with new owners. The women’s bathroom is modern with plenty of hooks in the shower!! The showers are temperature adjusted (sometimes the state parks are just on/off). They sell ice and firewood at the store and even deliver the wood! Some sites are an odd shape so be sure to let them know what you’re camping in to get the right one. The pool was super refreshing and we just loved the vibe. We will definitely be returning!!!

I had a wonderful time visiting Misthaven over the weekend, and felt very welcomed as a trans man. The vibe was quiet but friendly, the perfect weekend getaway. They're still updating the campground, but it's got all the essentials and was clean. My cabin felt very safe which I really appreciated as a solo traveler. I think that it's ideal for couples or a single person, you could technically sleep 4 with the bunk but it'd be tight! I'm really glad I came to visit, and will definitely bring friends next time.

We have camped here 5 times. Some of those in tents, others renting one of their cabins. Each time has been great. The facilities are kept very clean. The sites are nice and have plenty of shade. We have met people who became great friends lounging around the pool. The events planned are always a ton of fun. We have loved the entertainment brought in for regular drag shows. Karaoke and bonfires are always a great time.

Stayed here for a weekend and loved the campground! Dennis and Jesse keep the facilities clean well maintained. I really enjoyed hanging by the pool and movie night with the community. I’m hoping to visit during one of their drag nights. The best is yet to come with this little campground, I’m excited to see what they have in store for the 2025 season!

This is a great campground, open space, friendly staff and maintenance personal, disc golf, course pool, pet friendly, and quiet friendly a beautiful location. Tall mature trees and acres of green grass, what's not to love about this place.

I love this place! A friend of mine found Misthaven when we first bought our campers. This place became our summer home while we worked in the area. I learned how to play disc golf, i met many new friends, i had the best time watching movies by the pool! After a few months i got encouraged and brave enough to start my drag journey! (Thanks Mama!) I will continue to perform when im in town and stay whenever i need to unwind for a while. Cheers to more years!

My mom and I have been camping at this campground for over 40 years, we decided to stay after the new owners took over (Dennis & Jesse). We are so glad we did! We had a great time last season and looking forward to this season!! ❤️❤️❤️

By far amazing place!! Stayed there last summer while I worked near there. They take good care of their restrooms and shower facilities along with campsites. Accommodating friendly neighborly vibe as well. Great shows crystal clear swimming pool thats always clean. Disk golf course is amazing too! Will be back often for sure. The owners really turned this place around and made it a great little gem.

Love everything about this camp, the owners are welcoming and friendly, the pool was perfect and I definitely like that it's clothing optional. The other campers that I met were friendly and open to new faces. Will definitely be making my way back asap.....especially to the pool! Thank you to all I met. Hope to see again soon

I absolutely love the disc golf course. The Pro shop is one of the few places local to buy discs at a storefront location. I've not camped there since I was a kid, but the grounds are always well kept and nice looking. The owners are awesome. We got to play a tournament Sunday and saw the first real snow in the morning. The place is beautiful.
