We love bringing our travel trailer here! It is an older campground but is very well kept! The water hookups can be located in odd spots so make sure to bring extra hose just in case. Some sites are all river rock which isn’t ideal with dogs so that is the only reason for 4 stars on “room” rating. The lake views are awesome though! Randy the campground manager is very nice and helpful! He is very responsive to guests needs! We stay here annually and absolutely love it!

Second time spending early July here. The hosts are awesome and make it a great experience every time. Coffee and wood delivered too! Spacious campgrounds and quiet!

The configuration of the campsites is varied. Some are secluded, some look on the late and some with and without neighbors. No matter your spot its a very nice campground. Places for kids to play and swim and trails to walk.

People complaining on here about the showers haven't seen bad showers camping. Go to a "family campground" down south to campgrounds that you have to pay with quarters if you want to see "gross" showers. Yeah the setup isn't ideal with the double stall but it isn't as bad as people wrote down on their reviews. It's camping! The hot water is hot and good enough to do what you have to do. The hosts have been nothing but top notch. Answered all our questions and have been super accommodating our whole stay. Even giving us heads up on severe weather coming in. The site was great but The rocks were a annoyance but understand the circumstances due to the flooding. Only a few sites were like that so I'll have to remember for next time!!

"The most sought after site" is what was sold to us. We are tent campers, and there was not one patch of grass at our site # 34. The ground was so hard I bent two stakes trying to set up the tent. The bathrooms and showers are simply gross. Needless to say, we had to leave and we will not go back to this location.

Randy is a very accommodating person. I ended up with a lake view site with electric. What a beautiful spot!!! Quiet and peaceful. Good size camping store for souvenirs and camping needs. Looking forward to returning sometime.

The owners were great. The campsites were also very nice. We were right on the water and everyone enjoyed the lake. I would give this 5 stars but the bathrooms were in very bad shape. Not cleaned for a long time. Two very dirty showers in women's but they share a dressing area so must be very close to use both stalls.

Great camping experience! Campground host, Randy went above and beyond with pre-arrival communication. Escorted us to our campsite and delivered firewood. We love the location and privacy of the sites! We will continue going back but will be sure to bring a fishing boat with us next time!

This is the worst campground I have ever seen. Bathrooms are outdated and dirty, the campsites are very badly maintained and have no privacy. The beach area is terrible, found beer cans in the water, the water is so muddy and dirty that you can’t see anything including the trash you step on. The place was so depressing that we couldn’t stay there. We left without the refund. We were told that this campground is owned by the city and if you dissatisfied you can’t dispute with the people that were running the place... They charged our debit card without any problems but couldn’t refund without the city approval.

Awesome campground. Staff was amazing, friendly and super accommodating! Camp sites are right on the water and pretty spacious. We'll definitely be back, thanks for everything!
