Most laid back campground I've been to so far. I brought my own camper so I can't speak on the rentals but honestly I'm sure they are awesome. Plenty of stuff for the kids to do. Firewood is cheap and the owners don't bother you unless you "need bothered".

We love Huggy Bear!! We have 30' RV and we always enjoy our time there. There is so many things to do, like swimming (3 pools, and a pond with a Wibit, a giant blow up obstacle course), golf carting, eating (yummy pizza and ice cream and more!), bonfires, bingo, bands, playgrounds, and the Blob!!!

Absolutely luv this place 💗. We've officially made this our yearly camping spot. Thank you so much for all the fun and cleanliness of the grounds. All of the staff are amazing and very friendly and helpful. Kudos to Huggy Bear.

My kids loved the campground, which is what matters. I found it to be crowded, with little oversight to the way people parked their campers and/or their vehicles. The bathroom/bathhouse are not conveniently located and they could use updating. The grounds were not particularly well kept. The pool chairs were falling apart, there were weeds growing in the public areas, the bathrooms were falling apart, there was junk laying along the perimeter of the grounds, the play area was very used. It all needs a face lift and loving care. The swim lake was in excellent condition and the water was clear. There are lots of eating options for a fair price in the store. Lots of activities for the kids.

We visited and fell in love with all the amenities. If you are looking for a reasonable season camping spot, with lots of family friendly activities, including pools, parks and mini golf, this is the place for you. We would definitely be seasonal if we didn't live so far!

Nice, clean campsites. Lots of things for kids to do. Bring your gulf cart it's not very vehicle friendly. They do have rental carts for $75 a day.

The cabins need some work but the overall experience is good. We rented cabin H for the 2nd year in a row. The ceiling fan in the bedroom is very rickety. We thought it might have been fixed after the first time we stayed in it. Didn't happen. The price per night is pretty steep for having to provide everything but the electricity and air conditioning. The shower is either 100% cold or 100% hot. No in between.

Love this campground. Always get the circle site. Almost like a covered wagon circle. Have not once in four years had a bad time staying.

Went there for the first time over the weekend. This place is great. Family oriented and lots to do. The food the store offers is good too. The staff was also very friendly. Would definitely recommend renting a golf cart if you do not have one. My only complaint is that the bathrooms, back in the tent camping area, needs to be maintained more. Friday night most of the stalls were out of toilet paper and Sat. Night one of the toilets were clogged and eventually overflowed at some point. Pretty Gross. There was barely any toilet paper and there were no paper towels. Also, the checkout process should be explained a little bit more. We were tent camping and when I went into the office to let them know we were checking out and the girl at the counter said we didn't even need to officially checkout since we didn't use any of the hookups. We didn't know but now know for the future. We will definitely be back.
