If you are thinking of camping at Indian River RV Resort I would strongly encourage you to make your reservation. This park is truly amazing! The owners are so helpful and hands on. They know exactly what is needed to have a successful RV park. The people that work at the park are also so very helpful and friendly. They help you get to your spot......garbage gets picked up everyday at your site.....they have a coffee shop which is so yummy......laundry facility that is very clean.......a gift store that you can purchase items....a beautiful pool and clean and shiny bathrooms. Will I go back? Absolutely!! Thanks Terrell and Katie for a great week!!

Beautiful campground! Shady sites with some sun, but lots of nice trees. Fairly quiet, but good spot for families. Heated pool, playground and we see a lot of kids biking around the camp. Good campground to bring your dog. They have a nice dog run. There is a camp store with a pretty large laundry room. Just a bit pricey, but we like full hook up campgrounds, so willing to pay for it! Nice little town of Indian River. Some cute shops, ice cream, and beautiful scenery. Burt Lake State Park nearby. Swimming and boating allowed for day use if not camping there. 1/2 hour to Mackinaw City if you're in to that!....we go just for the bridge views. Have stayed at this campground 5 times and anytime we're up this way we will continue staying here!

What a beautiful and clean campground! I love the mature trees and the "extras" this campground provides you. Firewood delivered to your site and garbage pick up each morning. In the wood bundle is a little fire starter stick. It's quiet at night too, so we got great sleep. I love the camp store, it has lots of items that you might need when you are camping and tasty ice cream treats and candy too. The owner and staff are wonderful and always willing to help with anything we needed. This place also has an AMAZING coffee shop!!! I'm very picky about coffee and this place was top notch. The latte was perfect. The indoor and outdoor sitting area was lovely. The pool and playground are beautiful too. I highly recommend camping here. (I attached photos of the coffee shop, inside and out.)

If you are looking for a five star RV resort look no further. The Indian River RV Resort sets a standard. The customer service is impeccable. The public bathrooms are upscale and have classical music playing in the background. The landscape is beautiful and the marked trails are paved with red mulch. The coffee is amazing, and the fitness center provide a relaxing atmosphere. The staff help with everything including giving people rides back from the camp store and following them folding their laundry if they are able. The laundry room can be viewed through the glass wall of the camp store and has a beautiful waiting area. If anyone needs anything from the store itself whether its a snack, water wings, and/or personal items it’s not only accessible, but parents can put card on file for incidentals. Adults and kids were making friends that will forever be in their lives while staying up late talking. Everyone wanted everyone to meet everyone, and every kid that we ran into whether it was at the camp store, volleyball court or when riding bikes were responsible and respectful. When kids went to the camp store they approached the owner and said how much fun they were having going down the hill on their bikes when asking for a snack to be charged to their site. This place is perfect for both parents and kids and the staff relieve so much stress by delivering everything to your campsite and escorting you to the site upon arrival. A+-Nothing better!

One of our favorite spots so far. Easy to get into and out of, no tight corners, big lots. Nice pool and showers. Cool park for the kids & nice dog walk area. Less than 30 min to mackinaw city. Very shaded park, I feel like every site was nice.

It only takes one person to turn a great stay bad.. I was not given a $20 a day option. I at least expected honesty on your part... As I said you never even offered it. I came here twice this year for a week each time. We where planning on making your campground our go to. It won't be happening... It really bothers me that this place didn't even try to make it right. No honesty!!!

Absolutely wonderful campground and experience. We stayed the week of Aug 4 - 9. Grounds are very clean, staff is wonderful, overall it is obvious they care about what they have. Nice mix of older and younger campers, some children, although everyone was well behaved, none of the wild partying. We enjoyed it so much we booked two sites for next year before we left. Can't wait to show it off to family. It is within two hours of so many lovely west coast cities and towns, and under 30 minutes to Mackinaw City!

During our three week camping road trip across five states, we spent four nights at Indian River RV Resort. We stayed on a Super Site, #137, in the back of resort. The term “super site” is very misleading. The site is super deep, but mostly loose dirt, no gravel or concrete, and very narrow, only about 20-25 ft (?) wide. We were very disappointed with the width of the site as our neighbor’s sewer hose was only a few feet from our front door, and our campfire sitting areas were much too close for comfort. The sites are completely open with no bushes or shrubbery between sites. The main road back to the super sites is a little curvy with some trees close to road, which makes it a little difficult for big rigs to maneuver, but it wasn’t impossible. Otherwise, the facilities are clean and well maintained. The gym, pool and laundry room are very nice. The staff in the store was always friendly. We would not return to Indian River due to the site being uncomfortable.

Loved this campground! The curb appeal starts from the road all the way through to the sites, the bath houses, the fencing, etc. There are trees, flowering bushes, flowers beds and well maintained. And IT IS QUIET! The store is great and the laundry room is way better than mine at home! We loved the location because we weren’t far from much - just a short drive. The best thing about this place…the staff! Friendly and always happy to help! Even the owner took the time to chat with me and helped me carry my laundry out to the truck. We will be back! I’d give it 10 stars if I could.
