The pool area and staff are great. The campsites need lots of work. There is a big shortage of limestone and if it rains you will walk in mud. The slabs are great for parking your camper, but if you cant enjoy your camping area with friends or family its not worth the trouble if gou get a rain. It would be much better to fill the campsites with limestone, in stead of worrying about grass. Overall It was a descent experience once we got to the pool.

Thank you so much, "Spike" and Shelia V. for always ensuring that the visits and the interactive exhibits remain very clean, safe, and enjoyable. I was blown away by the level of professionalism and expertise displayed by the staff. I highly recommend visiting "The Isle of Iberia" in New Iberia, Louisiana.

Very clean restrooms, BUT very hot inside. Need insulation in the ceiling and a/c. Need picnic tables at the sites. Very nice lazy river and pool, but can use more loungers and tables. There are 200 sites, concrete pads, most had fire rings. We enjoyed the entertainment Sat and Sunday.

Great place, would.have given 5 stars, but there is no shade, and some of the camping spots are close. But overall, they have an amazing pool. We loved the lazy river - you just have to bring your own floaty for that. The sprinkler pad seemed nice as well. Definitely want to come back.

Great, clean campground. Always something going on at Sugarena, right in front of part of campground. From horse shows, to archery contests, to chili cook-offs, live bands and more. Just walk on over.

Had a great time place is clean and pool is very nice. But there are no picnic tables and even at state park and small parish park at less then half the price they were provided. Hard to feed family without. Also we have been going there on and off for some time and no attempt has been made to try to plant any trees. If they would plant 1 or 2 hundred dollars of them a year they would have at least a good start buy now

A great facility and welcoming staff. My 2 girls and I have really enjoyed this summer. We have looked forward to Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays on those designated dates where you all have offered public access for swimming and relaxing. The cost was $10 per person from 1pm to 5pm and you can bring your own ice chest and snacks. Only restriction is no outside food from any fast food restaurants etc. Some days were busy but there's enough room for everyone. Great time and kids love the Lazy River, Splash Pad, and swimming area. Lots of fun in the sun. Looking forward to our next visit. See y'all there.
