Do not tent camp here if you don't want to get eaten alive by mosquitoes. Swamp very near by. Can't even drive 1 stake without 10-15 biting you.

we like staying there until the new host Mrs Karen came along yelling at my son for riding his scooter saying there was multiple complaints on him and they called the police little did she know i’m friends with some of the police and called them and there were no calls that came in from there so she lied so defitnley not a place i wanna go back to if she is gonna be there

All in all, good campground. Quiet, friendly staff, lots of stuff like bike paths, disc golf, playground. Great price. Bathrooms are very clean, but pretty dated. Teensy bit of road noise, but you are right outside of town in a popular place for recreating, so it isnt bad. Would camp here again.

This campground experienced a recent storm that took down 40 trees, but they reopened quickly and had cleaned up really well. Some sites still needed work but overall the campground looked great. Large grassy area in the middle with a playground for kids as well as a large shower house that was clean. The sites were spread out enough that we weren’t right on top of our neighbors. Helpful camp host and an ice cream truck even drove through! It was a short walk to the reservoir lake and beautifully maintained trails. The lake has an island with a disc golf course and trail around it. Close to Jamestown which has stores to restock food, etc. Overall this was a spot I’d have liked to spend more than one night. Very quiet at night and in the morning. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for a week while my husband was working in Spiritwood, and it was exactly what we wanted out of a campground. The restrooms/showers were relatively clean, fire pits and picnic tables were at every site, and there was someone from the neighborhood that delivered firewood for $5/bundle. We stayed in a cabin, which was furnished with beds, an AC unit, and a fridge. The location was excellent too, right next to the Jamestown reservoir, and there were some lovely trails nearby. It did get a little noisy being so close to a main road, but that didn't make our stay any less enjoyable. The campground hosts were also very kind and accommodating!

I loved the location as the bike/walk path is right outside camp. The playground was fairly large and equipment spread out. The bathrooms were okay. My only complaint is most fire pits had garbage in them. Campers threw butts, cans, plastic, etc. While I wish the campers where more respectful, I also wish the park would clean this up and find a way to help prevent it. It was nearly empty when we stayed. Most sites where fairly large. The hook-ups are shared and can be more than 20' from camper. We would definitely go back and stay for longer than one night.

Nice city/county run campground. Very limited cell service. A legitimate ice cream truck drove by on Friday evening No campground office, just a camp host. Sites with electric and water with clean bathrooms and a nice playground for the kids. Make your reservation and pay online then drive to your site.

Cabin was clean. We booked a cabin so we could bring our 2 dogs with us. Unfortunately when we checked in Friday night, there was a sign hanging up stating *NO PETS ALLOWED* I checked with the host couple, lady wasn't very friendly and told me "If that's what the sign says, you have to follow it". After explaining to them that it states in the reservation that pets ARE allowed, the guy told me to just go ahead. We felt bad though and scrambled to find a place for our dogs to stay for the weekend. So either it needs to get changed on the reservation site or the sign stating it needs to come down (keep in mind that there were other cabins at the Marina that had dogs). Otherwise we enjoyed our time there this weekend

Very nice shaded campground, walking distance to Jamestown Reservoir beach, marina/restaurant and overlook hike/bike trail. Possibly the best handicapped accessible sites I've ever seen. Highly recommend
