We thoroughly enjoyed our evernight stay at Jay Landings! As others have mentioned, Site 14 is wonderful with views of the Tennessee River. The site was level and graveled with a picnic table. Many sites are occupied by transient workers due to the building boom in Decatur and Huntsville and the park owners work hard to keep the longer term transients meeting the park rules and standards, as well as work ing to repair past storm damage to the docks.

My family was traveling through the area and I am so grateful that we chose to stay at Jay Landings. We stayed in spot 14 which is on the end nearest the Tennessee River and a large grassy point. The view of the sunsets from our RV and the adjacent floating pier were beautiful. My kids enjoyed chasing fireflies at dusk, fishing, and watching for turtles. There were several nicely landscaped common areas with seating and fire pits. There was some minor industrial sounds from nearby businesses, but nothing that was bothersome. We stayed two nights but I would have gladly stayed longer if we had a reason to still be in the area. I would definitely recommend this RV park to anyone needing a place to stay near Decatur.

Let me start with stating that working with Jessica in the front office made the paperwork & stay even easier! Any questions, answered and options & suggestions were given when asked. Isaac, her husband, keeps this place tip top shape🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!!! It's beautiful, clean cut, everything from trees and bushes, to each site being clean cut, fresh bark all around is perfectly manicured, the pool is cleaned & treated every 3 days!!! I have been in over 40 RV parks in the last 15yrs and Jays is in my top 5, if not my #1💖!!! The RV park ends, as it opens up to a huge, beautiful, lush green, shaded park right on the Tennessee river for fishing, boating, kayaks!! Campfires and fishing from your own campsite🎣 and the sunsets🌄☺️!!! The only thing better than all of this is the low price for all of this💖 My only disappointment is that we have to leave, per hubs work schedule, sooner than I thought we had to or that I want to😢. Posting pics of their immaculate pool and top 5 sunsets🌄!!! And my view from my front door every morning for coffee☕!! Pet friendly, just keep them on a leash and pick up after them!!

We stayed during July 4th weekend. Had a nice spot along the river and the Marina has a lot of boats. Pool is fabulous!! Easy drive in/out for our 43ft Class A. Sites are all gravel, level but no grass area to speak of. Staff is very friendly, check-in was easy and the campground is neat & clean…. My only complaint is the trains. (Which they cannot control). But there are a lot of them… all night long !!!

We stayed here for 1 night passing through on our way to Florida. This is a great park and well maintained. Yes, it is in an industrial area, but it was rather quiet considering. It also seemed to be more for long term stays, but we didn’t mind that either. Overall, we would stay here again if we were coming through the area!

We really enjoyed our two week stay here! Friendly tenants and staff. Quiet at night and spacious, gravel spots. Every site has a fire pit and picnic table. The community areas are great even though they removed the game room due to a fire. Bathrooms and showers are remodeled and clean. The laundry room is in need of an update but there are many laundromats nearby if needed. Unfortunately, the WiFi is too weak to even connect to. Despite that, we would definitely stay here again. Just to note, it IS next door to a recycling plant but the noise was not bothersome to us. Also just to be aware, there are factories across the river that sound alarms on Mondays that could be mistaken for emergency alerts but are not. *** Because the WiFi issue is out of their control, I updated my review to 5 stars instead of 4.
