Amazing views and a great spot to just reflect. I have gone back 3 days in a row and still find so much beauty that I didn’t see the time before.

Jenny Wiley State Park is the perfect mix of natural beauty, outdoor adventure, and peaceful relaxation. The lake views are stunning, especially at sunset, and the trails are well-marked and great for all skill levels. We’ve enjoyed boating, fishing, and even spotted some deer along the shoreline. The lodge is cozy with beautiful views, and the staff is always kind and helpful. Whether you’re looking for a weekend getaway or a day trip with the family, this place never disappoints! And now with the exciting renovations coming to the lodge and the new archery center in the works, I’m even more excited for what’s ahead!

We’re big fans of state parks and Jenny Wiley has a lot to offer. We have stayed at the lodge and the campground. Love the peacefulness and beauty. The hospitality and food are amazing too.

The scenery of lake Dewey and the mountains are amazing. Please. Take the short trip to Prestonsburg and visit the mountain art center. Just the hairpin turns alone makes the trip worth it. The May center has a really good buffet as well.

Located in the heart of Appalachian’s the resort is named for a pioneer women Jenny Wiley who was born in PA she was captured by native Americans and witnessed the murder of her young brother and 4 Children. Also with child and after the birth of that child it was also murdered due to slowing down the journey. The state park is 2,871 acres of camping, hiking, birding, boating, and has a beautiful resort lodge. ,

Absolutely beautiful setting!! The staff was very friendly! I attended a conference during the week there. There were a few hiccups and some small issues, but they were able to be remedied. A lot of the rooms could use some updating. It seems like this state park receives much less funding than some others I have been to.

The rooms are outdated, but quaint. The service at the restaurant was sub-par, but the steak was great! Check-in was easy, but good luck checking out early morning. Apparently they lock up the lobby sometime during the night, so I just stuck my room cards in the door jamb and left. But it is a lovely area with good views of the lake, so I'm not complaining.

Absolutely gorgeous resort. My issue was we didn't get what we paid for. Was suppose to be a queen or king sized bed but we instead were stuck with a full bed. The cabin was connected to another cabin. But other than that it was a good time and experience. Would recommend just make sure you get what you pay for.

This was our 2nd trip to the lodge and we loved it. Food was great, room was nice, and some of the service staff even remembered us from last year. We plan on visiting all of our KY state parks, but we'll definitely be back to Jenny Wiley
