Jim & Mary's RV Park

Overview

Jim & Mary's RV Park has served travelers in Western Montana for over fifty years. This family-operated destination is famous for its vibrant perennial gardens, which feature hundreds of flower varieties blooming throughout the season. Unlike standard roadside stops, this park offers a lush, park-like atmosphere that emphasizes meticulous landscaping and a quiet, welcoming environment for those passing through the Big Sky Country. It is a refined space where nature and hospitality meet.

Location & Surroundings

Conveniently positioned just off Interstate 90 and Highway 93, the park provides easy access to the greater Missoula area. Guests are treated to views of the surrounding mountain ranges while remaining close to modern conveniences. The location serves as a perfect base camp for exploring the Bitterroot Valley or beginning a journey toward the rugged landscapes of Northern Montana. Its proximity to major transit routes makes it an effortless stop for travelers heading to regional national parks.

Amenities & Park Features

The facility is designed with convenience in mind, featuring paved pads and wide interior roads that easily accommodate the largest motorhomes. Each site provides full hookups, including 30 and 50-amp service, along with reliable Wi-Fi and cable television. On-site facilities include clean laundry rooms, private showers, and a unique gift shop. Visitors often enjoy the well-maintained putting green or gather near the outdoor performance area for seasonal events and community gatherings.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Staying here puts you minutes away from the cultural heart of Missoula. You can explore the Clark Fork River for world-class fly fishing or visit the historic University of Montana campus. For those willing to drive, the majestic scenery of Glacier National Park is within reach for a day trip. Local breweries, galleries, and the bustling Caras Park downtown offer plenty of urban entertainment and local flavor just a short drive from your campsite.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is ideal for big-rig travelers who value ease of navigation and level parking surfaces. It appeals strongly to retirees and couples who appreciate a quiet, aesthetically pleasing environment dominated by nature rather than high-energy activities. This a wonderful RV Park! They take such pride in keeping it so beautifully maintained. The lady at check in was very friendly and welcoming! Clean restrooms and great dog park for our fur babies. They even got a treat at check in. 🐕 I highly recommend this park! We’ll be back!

We asked to stay an extra night, they made us move 2 spots down to the exact same size pull through even though half the park was empty. Why would you have us move? Too lazy to email an incoming guest? It was not the owners that made me do this, rather some employee who does not care about their job. The park is beautiful and well maintained, just be aware of some of the employees, Jim/Mary, email if you would like.

The most beautiful RV park I have ever stayed at. Gorgeous flowers everywhere. Sites are a good size and many/most are in the shade. All have grass. Pads are compact gravel and roads are asphalt. Each site had a picnic table and fire ring. Near the highway but you really don’t hear it. Laundry facilities were good. People working there were super nice.

Cutest park I’ve ever seen! Meticulously cared for, restrooms are top notch. I’m never missing this place when I’m traveling through. I LOVE IT HERE! My grandma is 95 and just thrilled with how beautiful it was on our walk and we caught the beautiful sunset in the gazebo. Thanks for the memories ♥️♥️♥️

Nicest RV park we have stayed at. The best staff, kind friendly and extremely accommodating. The wonderful ladies in the office go out of their way to help and get you a spot. The landscaping is beautiful, the grounds crew and the horticulturist go above and beyond. Lots of shade, great showers and laundromat. If I could give them a 10 I would.

Train goes barreling by right behind the park numerous times a day and in the middle of the night. Wish we would of known that! The grounds are well kept and the sites are nice and level.

Hands down best RV park in the Missoula and surrounding area!! Clean and spacious bathrooms along with hilarious signage! Beautiful grounds all year round, but in the spring and summer when all the flowers are in bloom, Jim and Mary’s is the most amazing place in town! Office staff is wonderful, along with the owners and you have to go in to say hi and check out their gift shop! It’s all local fare, gifts, coffee, etc! Wonderful!!

The hosts are friendly. There's a nice little gift store but the sites are fantastic. There's lots of trees and despite being a busy RV park, your individual space feels relatively private. There's a convenient location that's just off the highway. We live near a railroad tracks, but if you don't like train noise, this may not be the park for you, especially the north side. We didn't mind the train noise at all but it is very close. I have never seen a lovelier park with all the beautifully kept flowers and landscaping and Darling little pockets all over the place.

Great place to stay on our way back from Glacier National Park and headed to Salt Lake City. Close to town and easy to stock up as well as visit town and explore. The laundry and showers were clean and it was great to have on site. The dog park was a hit with Milo and Zoey to play ball and run around off leash. Beautiful flowers and well maintained site. The train can be a bit annoying, but with a sound machine it was not a problem.
