This campground tried to ruin my life 4 years ago saying I did something I didn't do. I recently looked up my case to find out all charges were dropped. Like one of the other reviews said they work with the Milton Police Dept to ruin peoples lives and reputations. Do no camp or stay here ever with these bozos if you don't want your life ruined. These people are not good people.

A no frills campground. But was fine for us, we were just there to visit family. Prices are great at only $50.00 per night or $250.00 weekly. We didn't use the bathrooms or laundry so we can not comment on that. We have a big rig 45 feet so it was a little tight getting into the spot. They didn't have any pull through left.

We recently stayed here for 2 months, they have decent sized pull throughs and back ins, you can fit 2 vehicles. Nice place if you're traveling for work or passing through!

If I could give negative stars, I would. Prices online are NOT accurate! The lady in the office had an awful attitude when asked about difference. the lower lot FLOODS and is priced higher than the top lot which makes no sense. WiFi does NOT work. Never did. But is still included in the price. Bath house is always filthy. Be sure to ALWAYS get a PAPER receipt prior to leaving the office. Don’t rely on them sending an email receipt after you’ve already left the office. Protect yourself! I paid for a week on Friday, got a call Thursday saying I was 3 days late. Confused because I had paid for a week, I was accused of not paying 250 but only 150. The lady was extremely rude, called me a liar while telling me she’s an honest person but when I asked to review the cameras to clarify the confusion, she said they didn’t go back that far. It hadn’t even been a whole week? Ring doorbell cameras go back months so that automatically told me there was no mix up. I knew what I had paid but I understand things happen. I just wanted to make the situation right but she was only interested in being nasty. There’s a train that runs right behind the campground at least 2-3 times a night. the campground itself is okay but after the attitude and situation I was put in, I would never return.

This place has laundry facilities and what seems like plenty of room. I did not end up staying here as we finally closed on our house. Would have stayed though, Milton is a very nice little town.

Here on work for a month, the manager went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible they opened up the lower bathhouse for me an allowed me to set up down by the river thanks!

Sooner stay in a Wal Mart parking lot.bath houses were locked lots were not marked out didn't how to set up very close sites lucky there was only a few in the transit sites

If you go check out the Milton WV Facebook page, you’ll see that Jim’s campground and Milton police department work together to violate civil rights of people passing through. I would give zero stars if possible. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Nothing beats doing it yourself, but that's difficult in the winter. This trip didn't go well, as the machine was stuck on the rinse cycle. It's a cheap wash so I don't expect much anyway. At least the salt was rinsed off.
