This was a last minute over night stay to our destination. We were a little anxious as we have had some harrowing experiences. This was AMAZING. We didn’t get out of our vehicle, we were greeted by Chandler who via golf cart escorted us to our campsite #41. Our site we booked was a drive through. Long enough we did not have to unhook! We were allowed to get settled THEN go to the office to check in. Sonya who checked us in was knowledgeable and kind. They have a life size cut out of Kenny Chesney… Who knew it used to be a restaurant he performed at! The office/store nicely stocked with supplies and gift ideas. The location setting is beside the Nolichucky River. You can hear the roaring of the river as there are rapids perfectly located beside campground. We put on our water shoes and walked in the river. So nice! Of course, thinking I was Simone Biles on the balance beam decided to venture on the under water rocks that were very slick, took an unexpected refreshing dip in the river. The bathroom facilities were so clean! You have private individual stalls and showers! It felt very homey! The laundry room was nice as well! I hoped there was a bill changer. There wasn’t but there WAS Rhonda (manager) who was there and so helpful to provide me with change! The campground road/path is lined with mason jars with solar twinkle lights inside and each site has a jar of twinkle lights. Each site has nicely lined large “rocks” which also added to the beauty of the camp ground. The grand finale was pizza delivered to our camper! Yes, I said delivered to our camper! We ordered from Sonya when we checked in, gave her the time we wanted it delivered. It was made by camp ground staff (I think Sonya made it) delivered hot and on time! It was delicious! We don’t have doggies but for the doggie lovers/owners they have a nice area fenced for your 4 legged kids. We have already told others about this KOA and we will definitely return for a longer stay! Thanks to all staff for providing great customer service and cleanliness for travelers!

Right on the Nolichucky River! Kind, compassionate, and friendly management! Loved the sounds of the river. Such a beautiful spot! I stayed in my RV, but there were very cute cabins on site as well. The facilities were super clean! Pizza and firewood available on site. Great for a mountain getaway in Jonesborough, or an easy drive to Johnson City, Bristol, Asheville, Cherokee, etc.

The staff extended a warm welcome and were very helpful. The facilities were impeccably clean! We loved having a cute patio area with furniture and fire pit. We cherished a delightful morning stroll along the beautiful river bank. This is our second time staying overnight at a KAO site during our AT hiking travels and very pleased with our time here. What a great place! The customer service alone is worth the trip to this KOA! The manager Ronda was great so friendly and helpful, all the staff were just amazing! The bathrooms are incredible, so clean and even come with bathmat towels for the showers! There are two loops an upper loop and a lower loop which is right on the Nolichucky River! What a beautiful location, worth every dime to stay here! They even have a one bedroom cabin that sleeps 6, a vintage trailer and a Train caboose that is like 2 hotel room's that you can stay in, if you don't have your own tent or trailer. Amazing place, all five miles right off Interstate 26 in Erwin, TN! They are opening up their upper loop this winter for folks like us who like to adventure out in the winter months! They even have weekly winter special rates, that includes full hook ups and cable and internet as always! CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!

Treated like family! From the moment of arrival where I was greeted by name, walked to my site, and skillfully guided into place, to the moment we left, every part of our stay was flawless. The riverfront view was straight out of a story book. Each slot is well spaced & thought out. Restrooms Pristine. This was our 1st big camping trip & I have to say, I'm worried it's all downhill from here. ;-)

From the friendly staff to the clean bathhouse this place is amazing. Located on the Nolichucky River with riverside RV spots, a few level tent sites and lodging, accommodating every type of camper. A nice play area for the kids is in the middle and a pond for fishing, as well. A nice place to get away from it all for a few nights. Will visit again!

Lovely Campground! Host & Owners were amazing! We stayed in the “Caboose”. It’s a replica, not a real caboose, but it was still an amazing stay. The fire pit was the best under the stars. The access to Nolichuckey River was divine! Great stay!

Lovely campground! Flowing Nolichucky River just behind us! Nice wide/long spaces. Plenty of room for 24ft Class C and car. Bathrooms spotless and very well equipped! Playground for kids. Will definitely stay here again! (We’ve already booked)
