Just off the interstate Hwy, slightly rural but great for a short stay. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We'll be back. Dog friendly was a bonus as well.

Very friendly host. Nice campsites. Place is gated with security cameras. They also fill propane gas.

I booked the site and then got worried when I read some of the negative reviews. Most of these were a year or older, and I found them to be wrong. When we got there, I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We were able to pick from a couple of sites, and were quite pleased. We were only staying for one night, but would have enjoyed a longer stay. The campground was clean, well maintained, and landscaped. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was friendly and there is a well stocked RV/trailer parts store in the office. No food, drinks or camp supplies though. You pass through a trailer/ RV storage lot to get to the RV park. The roads are gravel and dirt as well as the sites. Large mature trees offer lots of shade and there is a huge green open space. Picnic tables and fire pits at each site as well. They have restrooms, a playground, showers by the office and a large pool. The campground was clean, but basic and no amenities other than those listed above. Most campers were seasonal or long term and many trailers were in disrepair. Others were unoccupied and covered in mold. This is not a great place for kids other than the swimming and playground. If you're looking for a simple no frills place to stay overnight as you pass through, this place will work.

We spent 4 nights here- the only reason not 5 star is no sewage hook up. However, bathrooms and shower houses were exceptionally clean and roomy and well vented. Large sites -we are 45 feet- lots of shade. Staff very friendly and helpful. Landscaping even for August heat very pretty. Pool looked awesome as well. Beautiful hikes within 30 minutes.Walmart, etc within 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend this campground.

This campground is a joke. They charge resort park fees ($1400/month) for a subpar campground. No sewer hookup, but had a truck come around once a week to empty your tanks… only they conveniently didn’t empty my gray tank when they emptied my black tank and water backed up as I was showering. They have no laundry facilty on site so you can drive 7 miles to the next town to do your laundry for $7/load. They don’t drive through their grounds daily to monitor anything, I had a huge tree limb in front of my front door for three days. I left it there to see how long it would take for them to clear it. Grass is overgrown: when asked if they could mow, office lady said let me come up and see what you need mowed. Really? Just keep the lots mowed and it’s not rocket science! Then the lawn guy mows five feet out from my door but completely clears the empty lot behind me…where I spend NONE of my time. 🤦♀️. Pool, let’s talk about their “new pool” in which the price gouging pays for. Nice pool, yeah but no loungers, no chairs, you can sit at one of the 4 picnic tables with no shade, and they went the cheap route and put grayish black pavers around the pool…just use your imagination for the temperature of those bad boys on sunny day. Beachfront campgrounds offer more than what they offer for way less money. Go somewhere else! Their seasonal rate is around $2000, I was supposed to be there for three months, They offered no discount or even just charge me the seasonal rate. Greedy!!!!

Not what I would call the nicest RV park I have ever been in. They said they were big rig friendly but not really. I stayed due to having no choice when we got there. Too late in evening to look for better place. Wooded and muddy. Those were not the problems. The heavy smell of pot everywhere in the park was terrible. Also the bathrooms and showers were padlocked. Our sewer tank was getting full so planned on using the parks facilities. Wrong answer. We showered the next night in a nicer park. For what this place charges for a night and the fact that nothing in the park is open, keep driving.

Jugtown Mountain Campsites continues to be one of the best campgrounds I have ever been to, over 5 years and counting now. People seem to forget that when you go camping it's time to take care of yourself, this isn't a hotel and there's no wait staff either. Pack your food and check the weather before you leave home. The staff is always very friendly and has always been accommodating to where we want to stay in the campground. There are clean bathrooms and showers, there's a playground on-site with a large open grass area for any additional activities, and an Olympic size swimming pool! Right off the interstate and plenty to do within the immediate area. I should add some of the best firewood available on-site as well. Enjoy the 100 acres they have to offer by using the walking trails!!
