We enjoy using their facilities every summer. The pool, laundry room, showers, and camp store are conveniently located. Everyone is always kind and everything is well maintained.

Great owners, nice park, but think twice about reserving a spot then 16 days before you arrive on check in date you have to call and cancel because you have a medical issue and surgery lands 3 days after check in date and No Refund for life happens. Buy some hot dogs and grill out for the park with our $200 on us. Happy fall... sad!!

I have stayed here twice, once in season, and once a bit out. Both times, we found this campground to be amazing. Sites are decent sized. We only need power and water, but they do have full hookups as well. We stayed most recently for their Halloween at the campground event, and we were blown away at all the activities for kids AND grownups. Great staff, nice location up north, and well worth the visit.

This was a great campground for us. We went to Traverse City and Torch Lake, using Kalkaska as a home base. Joe. Campground Mgr, was even nice enough to check our fridge when we got a warm alert, saving us a 30 minute drive back to campground. Hiking trails were nice.

This campground had a good vibe! I called the owner because I had a change of plans suddenly and needed a place to set my tent for the night. Joe was friendly, the facilities were clean, the tent site I was assigned was perfect! From the small conversation I had with the owner, the camp ground has been around for 50+ years, they bought it in 2019. I really think they are doing a great job. So glad I decided to go here! The trail in the back was so fun to walk during sun set!

We absolutely love it here! We drive up from Indiana, almost 5 hours just to camp here. This was our second time coming up and it's great every time. We camp in the rustic area in tents. It's nice and secluded away from the campers, which is what we like. My parents stayed in a cabin in the park this time and were very complementary of it. They have a very nice general store, bathrooms, and shower houses that are open 24 hours. Price is very reasonable. The locations is great, right outside of town but back in the woods. Joe and the rest of the team are great and very nice to talk to and have great recommendations and things to do in the area. We will continue to camp here, great place all around.
