This was our first experience at this site. The actual location was amazing. We have determined that there are 2 types of KOAs: a pass-through site and a destination. We consider this location a destination. Although we arrived in an off-season time, this KOA was really cared for, in the middle of nowhere, and had an amazing view. The check-in was a little confusing as we had registered online, and arrived after hours, but we knew our spot and settled in after looking at some posted literature. The only drawback to this trip was the location, due to the narrow roads, steep declines and switchbacks, it was a little nerve racking. Keep in mind though, this was a new area for us, pulling a dummy loaded, brand new 34-foot travel trailer. There is no cell service, but if you have satellite service like Starlink, you'll have no issues. We only stayed 1 night, and it was purely to scout it out. We LOVED this location and will be back with the intention of spending 2 or 3 nights there.

I have traveled all over the country and stayed many different places and I have to say this is absolutely one of my favorite places I have ever stayed. Cozy and the campground as well kept with lots of amenities. It is centrally located right in the heart of many very fun things to do and I highly recommend if you're looking for a place to either stay for just a night or a week or longer to definitely make this your stop.

Place is nice, pretty views, nice grass spots. There's a pond with lots of ducks. A pool thats max depth is 3 feet. A game room with lots of games. And a cage attached. The bathrooms and showers were really nice and clean. Right off the highway so the location was convenient.

Great park-like atmosphere, tall trees and while mostly shady, there was enough sunlight shining through the trees to not be too dark. Close to the river. Grandkids loved the catch and release fishing pond and the swimming pool. Definitely worth a stay here. Will stay again!

We booked the Kamiah Clearwater River KOA for the week of the Fourth of July. I have seriously never had such a relaxing stay at a campground. It was surprisingly quiet. All the RVs by us had dogs and we all were making friends. We did have a bit of a storm come through, my husband moved the limbs that fell on our sight to the end of our drive and we went to the pool came back like an hour later and it was all cleaned up. We also saw them bring over fire pits and bbqs to fellow campers. That was pretty cool. We are planning to return we loved this location its a little hidden gem.

Beautiful place but the campground managers are very rude and unaccommodating. Our first night my wife and i enjoyed the hot showers after camping for 2 weeks. That was amazing until shockingly The lady that manages the place, Barged into the men's bathroom and banged on the shower door yelling i was taking to long of a shower. Not only was that rude and disturbing, but highly violative! But it honestly started from the beginning.. The day we moved in for a months stay, the people next to us had a dog that bit me and drew major blood when i was setting up. i asked the lady managing the place to please do SOMETHING and she ultimately did nothing. Beautiful place and location but absolutely HORRIBLE management! I've always had a great KOA experience but this one was a very horrible experience,

The grounds are very clean and it was very quiet during the night. We arrived kind of late but they were ready to accommodate. The locking women's bathroom/shower house was gorgeous and extremely clean!

Loved this place! Stayed in a cabin for a week. It was clean, cozy and stocked with all the basics! The park is beautiful. Rustic looking with lots of trees. Convenient laundry, and bath houses. Thanks so much to Craig, Kristy and their staff for making my first trip to Idaho so delightful!!

This place was infested with fleas, like millions. I walked in the room and within 12 seconds I had a wave of fleas halfway up my pant leg. I’m not over exaggerating either. I ran out and had to pick them off (like 100 plus). They switched my room and I took my clothes off and cleaned my bags before I entered the new room and left my outfit out side so I wouldn’t spread it into the new room. Nope, that one was infested too. I stayed up all night picking them off as they jumped into my bed. I would have rather camped. What annoyed me the most was they never called me back after I simply asked if my black quarter zip was in there and if they could call and leave a voicemail. (I had to run out fast because of the bugs). They never did. Worst experience. On a positive note: thank you to the blond gal working the front desk in the mornings. You were very nice and refunded us all quickly and smooth. I appreciate you.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We had a huge family reunion here and we all were blown away. The rooms were clean and they kept them clean all week long for us. Everything we needed the staff was very fast to make it happen. I drove 35 hours to get there and I am ready to go back again. I have never had service this good ever. Trust me I asked a lot and they happily did what we needed. They brought us extra bed, tables, bbqs blankets. The owner even let me use her hose from her own house. The camp ground is beautiful and well kept. Everything worked properly. I really want to thank the staff so much for helping make our family reunion perfect. We even invited them to our last nights dinner party! #awesome
