Kamp Komfort RV Park & Campground

I pulled my travel trailer to Kamp Komfort so I’m not sure how to respond to the “Rooms” evaluation other than to address the facilities … spotless. Super clean restrooms and spacious showers. Pool and patio area were very well maintained. Unfortunately, it was chilly the three days I stayed and didn’t take a dip. The grass lots were large and I’ve never seen campground grass as lush as this. Definitely a pleasant surprise for my first trip to Kamp Komfort. The owners drove by and picked up our garbage when we set it out and stopped to chat a few minutes before continuing with their chores. After the first night there, we made plans with some friends to return the same time next year. Great experience.

This campground is well maintained. From the drive in to the amenities it is appearent. Not over powering with unnecessary"extras" that you will find in other camp grounds. They just focus on what is important. The bathrooms are well maintained, with no spiders staring at you. Showers are hot with great water pressure, no timer. If you come in at labor day weekend, at the end they have a doggy pool party before they shut down the pool for the season. Thank you for this great experience. Owners/couple are very welcoming. You can tell the owners care about this place and have put a lot of love in it, and it shows.

This campground is spectacular. The bathrooms are super clean and modern. Showers are hot with great water pressure. We loved being able to attend the annual end of summer doggy pool party. Thank you for this great experience. We can tell a lot of love has been put into this place. The owner was very welcoming.

Stayed for one night to break up a long drive. This is a great campground! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the grounds and pool are well maintained. It is right next to the interstate so you may hear road noise but with the fan running in our camper we didn’t notice it. It is perfect for a single night stopover or even longer. Will definitely add it to our places to stay again.

Stopped here for a quick overnight on our way home after a 3-week trip, and it was exactly what we needed. Big, spacious sites, full hookups, a really nice pool, and clean facilities. Super convenient and right off the interstate but still quiet enough to get some rest. Definitely one of the better overnight stops we’ve made. We’ll be back next time we’re rolling through.

Stayed one night here. Great spot for passing through. This campground has the cleanest and nicest bathhouse. Everything is brand new / remodeled. Easy reservations by phone or text. Beautiful grass sites. Thank you and highly recommend. Something to note: this campground is directly next to 74 and There is highway noise. All 30amp sites are pull through sites. Would absolutely return!

Lovely park atmosphere: big trees, plenty of grass, and songbirds. Restrooms and showers are spectacular! Didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. Friendly and efficient staff. Some highway noise and occasional train whistles, but not anything to detract from the overall five-star experience. A short drive to Bloomington. This is definitely a park we would return to and recommend.

Such a welcoming stop, friendly owners - flexible. They noticed we had a dog and on the way to original site offered “Would you rather have that site since you have a pooch?” Yes the interstate is near but we knew that and the price reflects a little of the loss of quiet - but we planned on windows closed so opted for the “no one out our rv door” which I appreciate. Stop here - support their efforts - a well kept place that shows the owners love for what they do.

The host were excellent, very personable and friendly. This was our first year coming here and have been back multiple times. Kids love the pool. Small laundry area in a very nice shower house. Very family friendly and pet friendly. Girls loved the basketball court and playing volleyball with the balls provided by the campground. This is a must campground on future seasons. Thank you for helping us make great family memories.

We stayed here because we wanted to visit ISU campus. We called on the road and scheduled a reservation with ease. It was easy to find, well kept and very clean. Sites were fairly level, easy to get in and out of and grounds were meticulously kept. Common spaces - bathrooms, pool, sitting areas, dump stations and park were very clean and well decorated. It was quiet, everyone we encountered was pleasant. Staff was very nice. Came to take our garbage and we chatted at length on our love of dogs. We would highly recommend you staying here and would definitely come back if we're in the area again.
