This is a great campground with a lot of good people ! This review is mainly for Kevin Isbister, Shame on you! Just because the new owners made some changes that you did not like, does not give you the right to give a bad review. Although it gives you the right to leave as a seasonal camper. The bathrooms and pool was always clean, and the owners were there often and you did not make the attempt to introduce yourself as a seasonal camper. Shame on you!! This campground has great amenities and it is a clean and friendly campground.

I've been camping here for the past couple of years and it was great under the previous two owners. The pool and bathrooms have been absolutely disgusting this year. The managers claim they only clean three times per day. Previous owners and staff would clean multiple times per day. It feels like a nasty KOA. The dog waste containers were removed and extra trash cans because according to the manager "they were overfull" The owner will introduce herself not to get to know customers but to tell you she's the owner. Despite being the end of the season and her still not introducing herself to seasonal campers.

We spent 9 years at this campground and sadly, it’s gone completely downhill under the new ownership. What was once a friendly, family-oriented place has become money-hungry and unwelcoming. The new owners have brought a toxic atmosphere — they’re rude, unapproachable, and seem more focused on squeezing every dollar than creating a positive guest experience. If you have a family bigger than four members be prepared to pay more money to stay. Our boat was vandalized in their so-called "storage area," which is no longer secured like it was under the previous owners. (See pic below words were scratched in the toon) To make matters worse, our neighbors children were recently questioned by staff about their names to verify if they were paying guests — completely inappropriate and invasive. The previous owners built real relationships and genuinely cared. Sadly, those days are gone. If you’re looking for a relaxing, respectful camping experience, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

We enjoyed the amenities of the campground such as the bounce pillow and the heated pool on our visit. The campground was quiet and the campers respectful. The staff was incredibly friendly. The only downfall was 4 single restrooms available to use. They were out of commission for the majority of our stay because of a clogged pipe. When they were available there was a large group camping and they occupied the restrooms the majority of the time. I know this was out of the staffs control. However, we payed $85 a night to stay at our site with a 6 person tent and a 2 person back packing tent (that they charged an additional $25 for) and at that rate I would expect to have a little nicer bath rooms other than a port a potty. The added charge for the tent was a little unreasonable considering we are a family of 4. I’m not sure we will choose Kampvilla again in the future as there are other campgrounds in the area we’d like to visit.

We had the most amazing three-night stay at Kampvilla! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this campground was something special. The kids were in heaven with all the fun activities on Saturday, and the extra day gave them time to truly soak in everything Kampvilla has to offer. Parents were equally thrilled—peaceful surroundings, spacious sites, and the convenience of full hook-up and on-site dump made everything so easy. Even our dogs had a blast! We especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the thoughtful layout of the campground. It was the perfect family getaway, and we’ll definitely be coming back! Already looking into our next weekend up north.

Kampvilla is a great place to camp. My wife and I have been camping there for years. The current owners are wonderful to deal with. They have many sites and their pull-throughs are very big. There are lots of places to walk around the campground and talk to the great guests. My wife and I wanted to watch the U of M game the weekend we were there. We were trying to watch it on a phone and were having trouble getting it and didn't have a smart TV in our camper. The owner stopped by to ask how our trip had been so far and she brought us a tv to watch it on. Highly recommended!

The family and I came up for the last open weekend of 2024. The location is excellent..The grounds are very well maintained and very clean throughout the park. Love the kid friendly statues and how they are around the grounds giving you and grand tour by the time you have found them all.. the pool was closed as late in season obviously, the bathrooms are the best ones yet- and we do some traveling! ADA and very clean. You have single full bathroom to yourself with deadbolt to add extra security and privacy.. As we were up for the fall colors, this location was a great home spot for our travels (Arcadia Marsh, Arcadia Beach, Frankfurt, Inspiration lookout, Suspension Bridge and so much more) . We were very impressed with staff, grounds and great seasonal friendly residents.. Thank you for having us, we will see you again. ✌️

Loved our stay here. There was lots to do for my granddaughter and I. My granddaughter loved fishing and the pool. She especially liked catching fish in the pond. We played shuffleboard and the playground was right across from our site. I hope to be able to go back to this campground again.

I really appreciate the staff to start they welcomed us as if we were family treated every situation as if it was a need of their own. They are very prompt and thoughtful. The sites are very spacious and clean. The grounds are very well maintained. They have a lot of amenities to offer the families that stay. We had a great time with them and would honestly say if we we're to make this trip again, we would definitely book with them again.

Best campground ever!!! The bathrooms are so clean. The grounds are soooo pretty. The owners are so nice!!! The spots are huge. We can easily park 4 vehicles with our camper. There is a lot for the kids to do - they have a nice playground, shuffleboard, horse shoes, and pool. We will definitely be back every year.
