My one complaint was with Midway Cards. I had the boys and three separate cards. They had just enough to do one more ride between the three cards. When they got up there they said couldnt split them between three cards. They needed the full ride amount on one card. If that's the case just go back to the tickets. Or you know, one ticket per ride. We really don't need to make it an algebra problem to get on a ride.

It was a very hot day but plenty of shade to escape to and some buildings a/c We were there for 4 or five hours and only got thru the animals. Ate pronto pups, blooming onion and funnel cake and a slushie food was hot and delicious

We haven't been in awhile, and we had a great time. Might sound silly, but loved the fair food. Funnel cakes, fried green tomatoes, to the fried jalapeño twinkie. Love some fair food

The state fair was fun but the rides couldn't be operational due to a storm but overall plenty of games and the fair even has a petting zoo.

This was my first time at the State Fair and it was so much fun! Lots to see and tons of awesome people! SO MANY food options!! I've never seen a sculpture made of butter before! Giant pumpkins and beautiful art! Cows and llamas! The list goes on and on! I'll absolutely be back!

My review isn’t on the Kansas State fair experience, but rather on the horse arenas. The arena itself is fairly nice and it has a lot of space For the riders. There is plenty of stalls in the quality of them is ok; Some of them are kind of beat up, but besides that they’re not bad. There are places to wash your horse. There is also an adjacent arena that we used to practice and it was very nice and could hold cattle.

RV parking with full hookups is a pleasure. Lots of room for longer rigs! All grass with paved roads. Water pressure wasn't much but ok. The area was reasonably level too. Very affordable!

I love going to the State Fair every year. I love walking around looking at all the different exhibits and vendors. One of my favorites is the Kansas exhibits and 4H, I love seeing all the different livestock, especially the rabbits. It's always fun at the fair.

Great time at the Kansas State Fair! The buildings with rabbits & all sizes & shapes of poultry - wow, we are going back with grandchildren again. So thankful for the good care by the law enforcement- kind, friendly, and available- Thanks

We come every year but we probably won't be next year after being outright lied to TWICE! By the state fair in 2024. First when buying wristband tickets they said we could buy wrist bands through to the 6th and it would be $30 a band. That was what I was told BY THE TICKET OFFICE. Then they advertised wristbands this year as being able to be used any day of the fair. We were told AT THE TICKET OFFICE that the wristband vouchers were good everyday of the fair. They aren't! Wristbands are only usable Monday through Friday of the fair. That's it. So we wasted our entry tickets today because we were lied to about when wristbands could be used. We were going to ride rides today and now my kid is disappointed. State fair keeps getting more and more expensive. Little kid rides are 9 tickets a piece so you can't even ride rides without a wristband at this point. And now they falsely advertised the wristbands. Seriously. Screw the fair at this point. I want to reiterate for people who bought wristbands. WRISTBANDS DO NOT WORK ON THE WEEKENDS!!! DESPITE HOW THE CITY ADVERTISED THEM! If you bought wrist bands and were planning on using them the last weekend of the fair. Know you you will NOT get a wristband. Instead they will give you tickets, which again... is USELESS when the little kid motorcycle ride is 9 damn tickets. Edit: First off. We came back Monday so we could actually use our wristbands. My son just got kicked out of line for a ride. Because the wrist bands stop working at 10pm. No one told us this when we bought the vouchers. No one told us that when we redeemed our vouchers. My kid is upset cause I told him we'd stay till 10:30. On top of that. I don't know how anyone is gonna ride rides if they can't get wristbands this year. Only one ride we saw was under 9 tickets. That being the little kids big slide at 6 tickets. Every other ride is 9-15 tickets EACH. With ticket prices being $10 for 20 tickets, $30 for 65 tickets, or $60 for 140 tickets. These prices are INSANE. So parents beware going the last weekend of the fair. Because you can't use the wristbands and ticket prices are ridiculous.
