Very nice campground, peaceful and relaxing fall atmosphere.

While it mostly caters to seasonal campers, a welcoming place to someone like me looking for just a couple of days.

Decent campground. Some low hanging branches make moving a big rig or a tall rig challenging. Others frenidly helpful staff.

We were placed on a cancellation list and received a call that a cabin was available, my family and I were very excited and replanned our whole weekend for this trip. My family travels from 2 hours both ways and at 4 in the AFTERNOON we received a call that our cabin was “mistakenly” double booked. The reason they provided made absolutely no sense to why they would only be calling us about this at 4 in the afternoon. They offered us Saturday night free but if it was booked why would the people only be staying in a 10 person cabin for one night? Needless to say they will not be getting our business again. We paid in full, very unprofessional and unorganized!

If you like hiking this is not the campground. To get to decent trails is all off road logging roads. The park is nice, busy, and they are good people here with lots of schedules activities.

Campground gets a 5/5! Showers cost my review some stars. I stayed over the weekend with some friends in a camper. The area was crowded and busy this weekend, but it was quiet, clean, and enjoyable. The kids had fun in the pool several times a day while camping and we were tucked into the trees so it stayed as cool and shady as possible on a hot weekend. My only complaint goes to the showers. EVERY TIME someone adjusted a shower, flushed a toilet, or used a sink (in either bathroom) the water temperature would change from SCALDING to FREEZING in seconds. I could not get a consistent temperature, even when I was the only one in the women's bathroom. The showers can't even get 1/5 stars. Absolutely awful water temperature regulation. However, the rest of the campground was fun and clean. I would return if I did NOT have to use those showers again or once everyone has gone to sleep.

I have camped here many times. I have only stayed in the cabins, so I have no info on rv or tent sites. I have always had a positive experience here. The people at the desk have always been pleasant. The pool is clean. The bathroom is clean most of the time. The cabins that I have stayed in are well stocked with necessities. The outside of the sites were always clean. My only complaints are that the cabins are not cleaned well enough (although not dirty overall). I have always had to sweep the floor when I first arrive because there is always dirt and dog hair on the floor and downstairs beds (and I'm allergic to dogs). The beds are very old and uncomfortable as well. I would actually stay for longer periods if I didn't wake up with a very sore back every time. Great place to stay!

It’s a cute little camp ground with reasonably priced cabins. We stayed in a 4 person cabin with electric, fan and AC unit. Outside the cabin had a porch with two chairs a water spigot and a fire ring. There was a pool, playground, gazebo, arcade, laundry room, shower and bathroom facilities, and a general store. The people were warm and friendly. Everyone was respectful of quiet hours. It was a nice camp with reasonable prices. We intend to come back again.

I'm not sure why this campground had as many openings as it did. It was clean, quiet, reasonably priced and conveniently located. A very neat feature we hadn't seen previously was great for us as we arrived in the dark - site signs that were lit up without being obnoxious.
