George is absolutely one that is a an old soul and one of the good old boys! Absolutely wonderful! He is very nice and polite! His camp grounds are great and clean! Respectful and beautiful friendly place! Thank you George for making me feel right at home! I will have to try to come up in warmer weather and enjoy your camping grounds and hiking trails that are in the area of the redwood forest!

Right by redwoods parks close to fishing the river or the ocean. Big spots and open spaces the way camping should be. family owned

Nice campground at reasonable cost. Playground, arcade, firepits, restrooms and showers. Full hookups. Horseshoes and shuffleboard. Close to river.

A shadow of what it once was. Beautiful location. A few of the more permanent tenants influenced the ambiance. Need to get on a regular grounds keeping schedule—ie: clean the restrooms more frequently than once a week!!

Spent one night while traveling through. 2 stars for Perry being friendly and helping us out to get the right spot for our car with a rooftop tent. But one star for the bathrooms/showers and the laundry room…….. they were disgustingly dirty. The bathroom had no soap in the dispensers. I won’t describe the toilets or urinal. I wanted to take a shower, but of the three showers two were already in use and from the other two the third one was filled with water on the floor, with globs of hair……. I don’t think the bathroom, as a whole, has been swept out for a LONG time. My wife found the women’s bathroom/showers just as bad…..The 3 washing machines had all kinds filth left in them, grass, clumps of dirt/pebbles and such…. Decided to not wash our clothes. Been on a 3 month road trip across the USA, and I’d say this was the worst of all the places we stayed.

This is a wonderful, beautiful, family friendly camp ground. The RV spaces are large and most are shaded with with full hookups. The owners are friendly and accommodating. It has a laundry room, clean bathrooms and showers. There is a barn/clubhouse that can be rented for special occasions and a playground too. We love this place and camp here often. We have had family reunions here and hope to have many more.

Not bad! We were the only tent campers at the time so we had our pick of sites. It was nice to have a shower close by and the area was really pretty. However the cost was a bit high at almost 40 bucks a night. The people checking us in weren't the most friendly or helpful with kind of an attitude when asking for just about anything. Overall not bad but would probably go elsewhere in the future.

What a neat and beautiful campground. They offer full hookups. The owner and staff were friendly and professional. As we checked in and headed to our spot, he ran over to make sure our site wasn't too wet as they had a big rain the night before. I'm sure they are very busy during the summer but it was quiet the beginning of May. Laundry on site is clean and efficient. Nice hot showers which is a treat as we are traveling to Alaska in a camper van. The redwoods are a short drive away. A very nice place for us to rest for a few days.

This was a great spot to stay for a few nights. Tucked midway between the Redwoods State and National Parks. There was a mixture of open sites in the field and some with shade under trees. Bathrooms and showers were decent with plenty of hot water. George (owner) was a very friendly host and had great recommendations on places to visit in the area. The park felt safe and we were comfortable letting our kids run and play. We would definitely stay here again.

One hell of a family! All good men. You also shorty! Just kidding. They all went out of their way to make us feel like this is our second home since me and my family started coming here and we've been coming here for a few years now and multiple times a year. Doesn't get better than this for easy camping. Fresh air, big trees, easy drive to ocean and river. Close stores, gas, propane and this place is perfect at night. Quiet and perfect for families and family pets. Very respectable crowds. No BS here. Given or taken. Maybe I shouldn't have written such a great review George. Maybe I should have kept my trap shut and kept it all for myself. BUT! You gotta give credit, where credit is due. See you guys this weekend.
