Spacious campground right along I-10 but traffic noise is negligible. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Reaching or leaving campground is through a tricky little rotary that causes traffic backups, not the fault of KOA, just an FYI. Pull thru site was level and hookups worked well. Many amenities are additional fees.

We had a terrific stay at this campground. Everyone was so nice and campground is beautifull. We will be staying again on our next travel through the area.

Wonderful experience! This is the second time we have stayed with y’all. Very friendly and helpful. Sites are beautiful and very restful. Many activities for children and a great place to spend a week. Only wish we had more time there. And the fishing is great!

Good looking park except for the tent camping area and cabin requirements. You can't choose the cabins unless you stay for 2 nights or more, and we just needed a one night stay. That sounds like a bad way to do business, because we just went across the street and rented a room at the hotel instead. It was walking distance to many things and we were able to get a room for a one night stay. So if you're there for just a day, stay away from this KOA.

We stayed for one night on a stop over to Galveston. There are multiple areas in this park. Older area up front, a little narrow, but very well kept. Obvious newer concrete area some with cabanas, tables, etc. We enjoyed sitting outside at night over looking the pond. We used the park for a base as we explored the area attractions and restaurants. They have two pools. The temperatures were quite hot and the larger pool was warmer than wanted, but okay. Lots of families around enjoying the park.

Park right off the interstate with full hook ups. Clean park with large laundry room for doing laundry on the road. They have a pond on the property full of fish and no license is required! Paddle boat rentals and mini golf on site as well. Easy on and off the interstate. Good place to stop on road trips. Have stopped here before and will stop here again

Having family in Lafayette, this KOA has been my go-to location for many years. This last visit, unfortunately, will be my last. I have seen the service and quality of guests decline a lot over time. This is a popular party spot for locals, especially on holidays and summer weekends. The park is pretty large and it would be easy enough to separate the "weekend warriors" from the quiet travelers just looking for a peaceful place to sleep. My wife and I were obviously not party goers, yet were still placed in the middle of party-central despite there being quieter spots elsewhere. The main amenity of the park is certainly the lake. Pretty easy to catch some fish. If you end up staying here, I recommend the newer back-side of the lake area. You will pay a premium but will have a more peaceful stay. As for location, there are a lot of good restaurants and places to eat in Scott, making this a prime location. It is quite noisy since it is right next to I-10. The entrance is ridiculous and tricky if you don't pay attention to the double traffic circle. This, of course, is no fault of the owners.

Great location right off I-10. Sites are huge and perfectly fit our 43’ motorhome and dolly without disconnecting. Very nice people!! We were there during the latest historic snow storm. They allowed to change our reservation daily and stay in the same spot. We got propane before we left. It’s well maintained and quiet. Would highly recommend!!!!!

Stayed one night in a two-room camping cabin while passing through. Fortunately we got in early enough to enjoy the mini golf and pedalboats. Overall a very nice campground with a large pond at its center. Everything was clean and cared for. We loved how the cabins were situated with the front porches facing the water. Our cabin had 2 AC units, a small heater, two sets of bunk beds and a full bed (very comfortable). No fridge or table. One thing to be aware of is the road noise from I-10. The traffic goes through the night. I was prepared for this from what I read in other reviews, so we brought ear plugs. It also helps to run the AC unit to drown out the sound of the traffic (fan only setting on cooler nights). Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Easy after-hours check-in. Clean grounds and spaces. Nice lake that was relaxing. Mini golf looks fun, but was only they're for sleeping that night. It's on the highway, so you'll hear it if you chose a space near it. I stayed further from it and it was quiet. Really nice people there! Great experience!
