Nice staff? Not so much. We called ahead and asked about a site with our enclosed trailer that we converted into a tiny camper and they said they had a site. We showed up and were turned away by the snooty lady at the counter. She looked at our setup (keep in mind this is a brand new enclosed trailer and a 2024 tundra) and instantly starting shaking her head at it and said is that RV certified?! I said what is that and she mocked me and said "what is that" with a little chuckle. We said okay were leaving and she said okay have a good day bye but with an attitude. Obviously our setup is not good enough for that lady or her husband..although they let people sleep in tents...which is perfectly fine but why is that allowed but your RV has to be certified? And, on top of it all, we're KOA members so that just goes to show they don't care about their members. Do not recommend and just like the person in the sprinter van in the comment below, would give it 0 stars if we could.

Clean, well-kept fully amenitied campground. Friendly professional staff. We booked the least expensive FHU pull-through site which was a somewhat level gravel with a picnic table. Long enough for our 32' Class C towing a VW Beetle. Next time we'll spend the money for one of the paved level sites!

The lots are flat crushed stone, decent water pressure and taste, ease of hitching utilities is good. The only problem is the closeness of each site to your neighbor’s. Can’t have my driver’s side awning out without severely overlapping onto the neighbor’s passenger side awning. Friendly staff and the place is clean.

Very friendly place. We were broke down for three days there and it rained a lot. However, We enjoyed their hospitality. They were very helpful. The park itself is in great shape. Everything was clean and it looked like it would be lots of fun for kids. We had our pups with us and they did fine there. There is a dog park right beside us that they had fun in we would definitely go back hopefully not broken down.!

Just left our second weekend in a row at this KOA. We fell in love with it our first weekend and had to come back! I’ve been to KOAs all over the country and this is definitely my favorite. The proximity to Savannah is fantastic, the campground is well maintained and the people are incredible. The bathrooms are the cleanest I’ve ever seen at a KOA. There is a lovely pond with swans and other beautiful birds. I highly recommend this campground when visiting Savannah!

I have overnighted here several times. Very nice facility with excellent level spots for RVs. A very nice pond with 🦆quacks and 🐊 gators. A lot of places to walk your dogs. And everybody had dogs. Highly recommended.

I was just staying one night but on my way to the campground I had a tire blowout so I was super late getting there. I had to have tire replacement people come out to put on new tires and the staff was so kind and understanding. They let me stay on site while the techs did the tire change, even though it was technically past check out. KaSandra was especially great and even gave my dog a treat. While I didn’t get to enjoy the campground, it was well kept, clean and peaceful. I will definitely stay again. Thanks KaSandra!

One of the nicest KOAs we have stayed at. Every one was extremely friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and showers were the cleanest we've ever seen. Great dog park and level sites. Easy in and out plus wide variety of restaurants and grills within minutes. We will definitely return!

I like all KOAs but this one became the family ‘s favorite! Location is amazing, you have every store, shop and restaurant type around the camp. If you don’t feel like doing breakfast one morning, they have free light breakfast with coffee and juices. Kids love it as they have the good cereals, not the healthy ones I give them 😀. Hot showers, clean restrooms and heated pool! Depending on bridge traffic, you can be at the Clearwater beach in 30-40 min, easy backroads through nice neighborhoods. This will be our yearly spring break KOA! BTW, Dogs are allowed at the beach north of Somerset street, which is only about 6 blocks north of the Ferry’s Wheel. Plenty of parking by the street, even on weekends.

We only stayed a single night in our travel trailer while passing through Savannah, but we will definitely come back again and stay longer. We loved how many swan, geese, alligators, etc we saw. We hung out at the pool mostly but we could still see everything in their lake. I had no idea they had cabins for rent until we started to walk around the KOA to look at what other animals we could find. We made sure to keep our distance from the wildlife, even though they did not seem to be afraid of us. The cabins looked really nice, clean, and well maintained. Some of the trailer spots were a little close but if you're just passing through it shouldn't be a problem. We reserved a premium spot that gave us more room and a nice level area to park on. This KOA appears to be small from the front but it goes really far back. If you have kids, there is a playground in the very front by the pool.
