Had a great time camping at Krueger RV Park. Really enjoyed the new bathrooms/shower! A few things to do in town: -mural walk -mosaics -Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center

Good little first come, first serve site. Takes only cash or cheque. A friendly site manager walked up to take payment within a couple minutes of us arriving, then texted us the bathroom code. People coming here should be aware that there is a little road behind the back sites that drivers seem to enjoy revving on while it's light out and the main highway through town is not too far. Also the nearby church rings their bells for a full minute at 6 am, that woke us all up, but its not the sites fault. It was cold and windy when we had first arrived, but the next morning it was bright and sunny with a stunning view of Lake Superior. There is a playground for the kids.

Great park nice spaces. It is first come, first serve, so get there early. First day we stayed in the overflow. Second day had a great spot on the lake. We had water and 50amp. Dump stations on the way out was really busy.

We loved Kreher Park! Great little no-reservations campground. All of the sites have a nice view of the lake. There's a nice playground where our kids spent ALL of their time. The facilities are decent. We didn't use them a ton though. Very easy 30 min drive to Apostle Islands National Lakeshore as well.

This park is family friendly. BRRRR water if you've never swam in Lake Superior COLD water before. A holiday gas station and burger King are up the hill for quick access alongside a historical hotel and easy access to a bike path. A new area is going to open soon and I can't wait to access it. We've walked the (boardwalk) a few times so far. Hopefully this spring the gates will be gone!
