La Paz Valley RV Park

Overview

La Paz Valley RV Park offers a serene and spacious retreat for those looking to experience the unique charm of the Arizona desert. Unlike the crowded central hubs of Quartzsite, this park provides a peaceful desert atmosphere where the horizon is dominated by rugged mountain peaks and vast open skies. It serves as a comfortable home base for travelers who want to enjoy the winter sunshine and the community spirit that defines this legendary RV destination.

Location & Surroundings

Situated just south of the main Quartzsite bustle, the park is conveniently located near Highway 95. This location allows for easy access to town while maintaining enough distance to provide a quiet environment away from the heavy traffic of the gem show season. The surrounding landscape is characterized by stunning desert vistas and iconic cacti, offering a true Sonoran Desert experience right from your doorstep.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is designed to accommodate a variety of rigs with its spacious full-hookup sites that include both 30 and 50-amp service. Guests have access to essential facilities including clean restrooms, hot showers, and a convenient laundry room to make long-term stays comfortable. The wide desert roads within the park make maneuvering even the largest motorhomes or fifth wheels manageable, ensuring a stress-free arrival and departure for all visitors.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Quartzsite is a hub for activity, and staying here puts you minutes away from the world-famous Gem and Mineral Shows and the Tyson Wells Sell-A-Rama. For those who prefer adventure, the park offers proximity to miles of scenic OHV trails that wind through the desert hills. Nature enthusiasts can take a short drive to explore the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge, while history buffs will enjoy visiting the nearby Hi Jolly Monument.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is an ideal fit for winter snowbirds who want a long-term stay with a strong sense of community and quiet nights. It is particularly well-suited for off-road enthusiasts who want to launch their ATVs or UTVs directly onto desert trails. If you prefer a relaxed, rustic vibe over the high-density resort environment, La Paz Valley RV Park provides the perfect balance of comfort and natural beauty.

Adam is awesome to deal with. Owner not so much. He is aggressive and takes advantage of people. Things broken in park and he does not fix (washers). Water is an issue. Do not recommend

We were glad to find this RV space, outside of the business of Quartzsite, AZ. Check-in was easy and our site was just fine. Adam was very nice to work with. Only downside was very little Verizon service.

If you're looking for a little rest and relaxation, beautiful sceneries and fabulous sunsets. La Paz RV Park is the place to be. It is quiet and peaceful here. We've been here for about 2 years now.

What an amazing gem at the edge of the desert! Ignore the old reviews, the new owners are amazing and are making lots of improvements. It is family-owned and a very quaint and friendly place to stay. The water system has been upgraded and supply and pressure are great. Large sites, dog park, laundry, pool table, drive-in ATV theatre, clubhouse. The managers and campers are very friendly. There are group campfires every night where you can share stories and make new friends. Lots of fun events like taco Tuesday, live music, games and group ATV rides. It is so peaceful here, at night you can watch the sunset and do some stargazing. But you are still only minutes to Quartzsite and all the fun events. We stayed for a month in our motorhome and we will definitely be back again next year as we have made many great memories and new friends.

The full time RVers, at this park are wonderful. However, water is an issue. Laundry keeps getting shut down because of it. There appears to be underground leaks. One was fixed which helped some of the problem. We like to take a shower every day , as it’s filthy dirty in the desert. When we go riding. And we don’t go out to eat very often. So I have dirty dishes to wash. We were Full Timers at this park, but when our rent was up we left. The owner has a bad attitude. And the park is starting to look like a dump. Broke our hearts to leave. But the Drama was getting to us.

Love this RV park! The mangers do a great job. Very welcoming and all residents friendly and welcoming with the exception of the woman in space 1...she screams at people and her husband is hard of hearing...he said he would tell her to knock it off...but I'm not sure he can hear her! Just avoid them and you will have a great time.

An outstanding park! Beautiful views, friendly people and helpful, responsible management who strive to make your stay comfortable and happy. Lots of fun activities. Nicely landscaped, clean. Well worth the ten minutes from town to be out in the beauty of this county. No ingestion. No crowds. Lovely.
