Very nice campground close to I-80. Sites are spacious and well shaded with huge cottonwoods. If you like grass and trees instead of a gravel parking lot, this is the perfect overnight or weekend spot for you. This city park and the little town of Gothenburg are clean, bike friendly, and a great place for weary travelers to rest, relax and explore.

Nice small RV campground. The pull through sites have recently been upgraded with gravel. Didn’t use the restroom.

This campground has gone downhill the last couple years. We like camping here, but it's not like it used to be. If you have questions they don't answer the door or the phone. The people next to us used the shower and there wasn't any water pressure in either mens or womans so the rest of the family didn't shower. One time we were here and they ran out of toilet paper and the camp host was out of town on a weekend. It took several calls, and about 3 hours later someone came and put in more toilet paper. The firewood used to be free and now it's $7 for 5 pieces of wood.

Nice, clean little campground. Beautiful trees, close to the lake, walking areas. Two separate playground areas at the campground, with two more at lake Helen, within walking distance. Shower house was adequate, and didn't smell. I would recommend this campground. I would say improvements could be, Please don't advertise wifi at the campground if it isn't strong enough to even get one bar. Also, I would do something different with the men's women's bathroom/shower . Should be able to securely lock from inside to shower if you are going to have same codes for both units.

Great local GEM of a park! We used a pull thru site for a nite on our travels. Clean and level sites. Watch which way you pull in as the hookups are combined for 2 sites, so you need to make sure you have them on the correct side for your rig. Saw a boil notice up the street at the gas station, and read a review mentioning the same issue at this park amd in town. Ecoli in water 💧 and a boil order. We warned our neighbors who had 2 dogs and no idea. Perhaps the city should post something on the water hookups if the issue remains troublesome.

Very nice campground easy in and out for 35’ class A with tow vehicle. Water and electric at site with dump station outside office area. Everything kept clean. Large beautiful park adjoining the campground that’s a pleasure to wander around.

I found this park on free roam and we rolled up about 8:00 p.m. nobody was in the office but on the door it said you could pick a campsite and register online. $30 with electrical and water right next door and the bathrooms were less than 75 ft away. Really nice area but the trains and birds kept us up pretty much all night. Definitely has a nice area and we will remember this if we ever need to stop because I think it's $15 for a tent site. They also have horseshoes showers bathrooms and a playground. And a lake right next to the park.

Was tricky to find especially since it was dark. GPS tells you turn opposite direction than you actually need to, but managers were very nice. They stayed on the phone with us until we found the campground and our site. We stayed one night. Sites are clean, well groomed and a bit narrow. We have a 43 foot fifth wheel and it was a bit tight navigating. Dump station had to high of a slant to pull in to dump on our way out. Overall good experience and would come back if in the area.

A nice alternative to the big places along the highway. Quiet small town feel, friendly hosts. Not really suited for big rigs ... I was pulling a 30' trailer and that was about the limit.
