I have been coming here for a few years now. I have rented the cabins and used a tent site and I highly recommend the cabins and the tent site. I LOVE having the AC and the fridge in the cabin. There is plenty of room for me and at least 4/5 other people. The bathhouses are always clean and well maintained. The entertainment out at the stage rather it be a DJ or Karaoke, is also a fun time. The pool, playground and putt putt area is a wonderful and a great way to stay busy. The arcade area is a bonus for sure. Sometimes they have a food truck which is a nice break from feeding myself. Everyone who works and supports the campground from the ladies in the camp store to the workers who keep the whole place clean and well oiled are friendly and helpful.

We love Lake Gaston Americamps! Especially on holiday/themed weekends. They always have something fun planned. The entire staff is excellent. Extremely helpful and goes over the top to make sure your stay is excellent. I highly recommend booking a stay with them. Beautiful lakeside view.

I am a single father of two boys, 12 and 10, and a co-worker had been recommending Americamps to me for all of the kid friendly activities and the close lake access. I am so glad I acted on his suggestion. The boys and I had the best time. We enjoyed fishing as well as the pool, arcade and miniature golf. They even had a live band play during the evening. I didn't expect that. What a great ending to the day! My boys are still talking about the amazing time they had and can't wait to return. I highly recommend this location for all.

Nice Campground. People were friendly. Stayed with a friend & her family. The swimming pool was clean and sparkling, however; the 100-degree temp outside made the pool water feel like you were in the bathtub! Duck Lane needs some road repairs to smooth out the bumps and holes. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Its a nice place!!! Everyone their was very nice!!! Its clean....the vibe was great. We will be coming back!!! So much to do you can play basketball volley ball. Its by the lake. I meant this place was just amazing😍😍💕💕💕💕

Beautiful weather. Sites a little tight. Clean grounds. Mostly long term sites. Nice playground, putt putt, & pool (closed/drained). People very friendly.

Tent sites are basically in front of a trailer park, so you feel like you are camping in a neighborhood. Zero privacy. People who live there are constantly riding around on golf carts, you can almost always hear music & people talking loudly. The bathroom is up a long steep hill from the tent sites so if you are older, have small children, or have trouble walking, keep that in mind. We went to the pool & some lady was smoking cigarettes & blasting her music, no lifeguard or any kind of worker there to make sure people are following rules. When we did come back from the pool random people were sitting at our picnic table with their small boats parked at our campsite like it's a free for all!!

Great group of folks that run this place. Wifi available but I was able to get some bars on my Verizon and AT&T phones. Some of these trailers have been here a long time, but I like the sense of community. Very welcoming to "the new guy".
