The best location!!! close to Lake George and Queensbury. The campground is quiet even when it's full. Nice Laundry facilities and pool is always clean. Staff here are extremely accommodating and friendly. John gave us a great rate to stay for the beginning of August through Columbus day. A lot of people complain about the Northway noise but it doesn't bother us. If you sleep with white noise, you don't hear it inside. Just a great place to be a seasonal. No one bothers you as long as you stick to the rules which isn't hard to do.

Clean campground with well-kept facilities. My site was extremely tight, and even as an experienced camper it took me about 45 minutes to get parked. The campground is also very close to the highway, and the road noise was very noticeable even over the RV air conditioner. If you’re looking for a clean and affordable place to stay, this will work. If you prefer larger sites and a quieter escape, you may want to look elsewhere.

The cabins were fantastic! Roomy and cozy, while providing all a family will need at a great price. A great alternative to those who cannot afford or have a camper or RV option. The campground is very nice with exceptional staff and service. Great location next to many attractions including Six Flags right up the road. We will come back again!

Park is just average. Nothing stands out as excellent. Small sites, which is to be expected at a private campground in a tourist area. Wifi SUCKS, there's no other way to say it. Tried to stream a movie to help my highly emotional 9 year old calm down before bed was a disaster. The liner of the pool is coming off in multiple areas, I guess it's good news since it will definitely have to be replaced before winter. We camped here in a 38 Ft 5th wheel and I had a very hard time maneuvering to get into and out of my site (which was a pull through). The roads in the campground are just way too narrow. If I was not a professinal truck driver for almost 20 years, there's no way I could have gotten in and out without more of an issue. While walking around the campground on Sunday morning as everyone was clearing out, I noticed a pickup with staff stopping at campsites and throwing wood that was left for the next campers in the back of the truck, then taking it back to the office to resell. We camped at Lake George Campsites in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed (3 nights) in our camper, so I didn't think it fair to give myself five stars for the rooms 😀. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating!!! Cindy was more than willing to assist us with anything we requested! Maintenance staff was friendly, and good natured. The full hookups where easy, and well maintained. The playground area was great according to the kids, and the pool was clean. As for the road noise, we knew how close the highway was by looking at a map before we planned our trip, and had no issues with the noise be disturbing.

If you've ever wanted to camp on a highway median, this place is perfect. I feel bad leaving a poor review because the campground itself is well maintained, but I ended up leaving early due to the terrible location. You're only about 20 feet from the highway, and it's so loud that you can barely hold a conversation. My wife and I actually had to sit in our car just to talk. The campsites are a decent size, but many have exposed tree roots and aren't very level—some are better than others.

Not really a campsite. More like a strip of wood area right next to 87! So you have the pleasure of listening to cars all day/night long and breathe in all the smog. Not really your ideal outdoor experience. Pool area is rusty, dirty and slippery. Be Aware! Asked to change sites but the noise level is all the same wherever you are on the campground. It is a real disappointment. Would not recommend it at all.

Camp sites are well kept up. Large sites with fire pit and hookups you request. Bathrooms are kept up. See staff in there several times a day. The playground is also well kept. A few activities there and can borrow balls, bean bags and such from the camp store. Staff friendly and say hi as when passing. Been coming here for 20+ yrs. Never have had any issues.

We booked a site for 2020, but had to transfer it due to COVID. Now Americade is the same weekend as we had planned. Since they consider it a "holiday" they won't refund money or transfer it....got us for $200.....

My husband and I came last year in August to what was described as "Beautiful Newly Built Cottage". They were not brand new last year and I see this year, for the same exact cottage and her other ones, she still has this same exact heading as being brand new. She owns several of these "cottages" in the Lake George Campsites. I am amazed that a business would have the audacity to blatantly describe property in a way that it is not and continue to get away with it. I tried to put this review out last year and it was taken down because of some of my wording. I do not want people to experience what we did. When we arrived the place was dirty. It was in the evening and the office had closed. The next morning I went to the "so-called" office/store to complain, it didn't seem to bother them at all. I now know why, they get away with this and still get their money from customers. We checked out and didn't stay as I was completely grossed out (mind you, the bottom of my feet, after walking barefoot in this small cottage, were black). They would not refund my money, VRBO didn't support me and the credit card company did not because of the "60-day cancellation policy". Beware...this woman has quite the thing going on. She knows she will come out ahead because of her policy, meanwhile, she can post what she wants whether it is correct or not and the consumer loses. It is not fair to the people and they need to know just what is going on. This business needs to be held accountable for conducting business in this manner. My only hope is that this post does not go down and someone with authority can investigate and have this way of doing business stopped sooner than later.
