Nestled in the heart of West Michigan, the park is conveniently located just outside the charming community of Cedar Springs. The landscape is defined by its immediate proximity to the water, offering picturesque sunsets and mature shade trees that provide a canopy for many sites. The park offers a variety of site types, including full hookup options for larger RVs and water and electric sites for a more classic camping feel. On-site facilities include modern restrooms, hot showers, and laundry services to ensure a comfortable stay. Recreational features are centered around the lake, including a private sandy beach and a boat launch for those bringing their own watercraft. Families often gather at the playground or utilize the picnic tables and fire rings provided at every site for evening campfires.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the close proximity to the Fred Meijer White Pine Trail, which is ideal for cycling and long walks through the Michigan countryside. The town of Cedar Springs offers local breweries and unique shops, while the annual Red Flannel Festival attracts visitors from across the state. For those willing to drive a short distance, the Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in nearby Grand Rapids provides a world-class cultural experience. Fishing on Lincoln Lake is also a popular daily pastime for guests.

Rented a RV lot for 2 nights. Paid an extra $10 to guarantee my lot#. Got there and someone had taken my lot. Office closed. Took another lot. Next morning the manager (was very pleasant) apologized and gave my $10 back. So the guarantee is only worth the price you pay for it. I didnt complain but this is not good policy.

The campsites are absolutely miniscule. You get no space whatsoever. The lake is smelly but there are a lot of fishing spots around it. It seemed fairly well kept and the staff were super nice. It has a Meijer and had every restaurant in existence within a few blocks.

Restroom cleaned once a week. No toilet paper. Sites are not level. This is like a trailer park because most people are permanent residents or they use this to store their camper. No WiFi for 2 days because the office was closed and nobody could give me a WiFi code to use. Dirt roads, so everything was dirty.

Seems like there are a lot of full-timers here which definitely impacted the overall feel of the place. Less recreation and upkeep, more maintenance and stagnation. Staff was kind and it looked like they were trying without much direction or ambition for anything better than what it was. Site sizes were all over the place.

We were looking for one night in the area of about 50 miles for a Saturday night. Thanks to Amanda we got a site and Sunday morning on our way south. Her and husband were very hospitable and helpful when backing in our large motorhome.

This place is for older people, no other explanation. If you have kids and want to hold there hands 24/7 and not let them outta site well maybe that’s a place for you. It’s not a vacations spot. They kicked us out bc our kids played next to the “road” in a big puddles bc there campground floods if it rains, had Pam say it was an our first and only warning. My daughter went up the slide the wrong way a mom complained to the office and that’s was it we got kicked out. Didn’t make a fit over it nothing said okay we had two days to leave so we ate the 200 we paid in advance. Several staff members the day before we left called for a welfare check on my kids THEN called several times to cps. Had police then cps at my door the day before we left even tho we had been there over a month with no problems both the police and cps saw no problems. Guess they gotta cover themselves bc they had gentlemen drive everyone’s kids INCLUDING MINE… DRUNK and flying thru the park. They got fired but still live in the park. Would LOVE for the owner to contact me I’m sure they will leave some comment after this. I’m only writing this hoping I can hear from the actual owner of this park.

Those last 2 low reviews were sour grapes. Yes we have speed limits and quite times and no dogs on the beach. But camp ground have rules. I love Cedar Springs Resort, this has been our summer site for the last 4 or 5 years. We will come back as long as we are able. Laura and Steve do a great job. We will miss you this winter, Mike, Sue and Monkee

This was our second time camping there. The staff is extremely polite and ready to help. This is a perfect family get away. We had our Granddaughter and the kid friendly activities were Great! It also has activities for the child at heart! Our first stay they had karaoke and barrel rides. Our Granddaughter loved it, she's 5. Our second stay they had the barrel rides and live music and a pancake breakfast. They have an awesome play area and a very nice beach and swim area. The bath houses were clean and nice. We will definitely be taking another trip there. You will not be disappointed staying there.

We made last-minute Memorial Day weekend plans and were thrilled to be able to book two sites here. Not only that but they were full hookup! We've camped at state parks on Memorial Day weekend and have always found it to be a noisy, crowded experience. Not here! Even though the campground was pretty full, it was extremely quiet. No loud party people and everyone was friendly. All the facilities were nice. Our site backed up to the playground, which was small but lovely. The kids really enjoyed it. The beach was very clean. We brought an inflatable raft that the kids enjoyed taking out on the small lake. The owners also did some fun kids activities. Even though my kids chose not to take part, I thought it was nice that they offered train rides and organized a game of capture the flag. This campground is also in a great location. Our goal was to be close to the John Ball Zoo so we could attend an event there. This campground is only 20 minutes from the zoo. It's also just minutes from a Meijer and pretty much any fast food restaurant you could want. Overall, this was a better than expected experience and I'm sure we will be back in the future!

I love this park. Been here 3 years. The staff are great especially Dar and Mary always willing to answer questions and help if needed. We did have trouble with wifi a lot this year hoping they can get it fix for next year. It really would be nice to have store open longer hours and manager on site but new owners might need time to work out bugs. Hoping next year will be even better.
