A lovely campground! The grounds and facilities are extremely well kept. It is clear they take pride in their campground. There are a swan and duck in the small lake on site; they have clearly bonded. Pull in sites provided easy in/out for one night stays. I Recommend!

Absolutely amazing place! We stayed here a little over a month in our 5th wheel and couldn't have loved it more. The setting is beautiful and it's location is close enough to New Orleans and Baton Rouge to make for easy day trips. They have the cleanest facilities and bathrooms we've seen in an RV Park and everyone there is so kind and wonderful. Our kids loved it here and so did we. They loved the covered playground and fishing! Great family friendly location. They even had a few community events while we were there and it was so much fun. Highly recommend whether a quick stay or long term!

We are here for a month stay. They keep this place immaculate and everyone is so friendly. It is so peaceful here. We will definitely be back. The sites are a bit close together but we were able to get around even with our 46ft 5th wheel and F450. I had plenty of room to drop the back patio and enjoy the lake.

Even though we only spent one night we did get see the RV campsites. It was under some construction (for the better). Concrete pads etc. We would definitely stop here again and spend some more time.

We had no real expectations when booking a stay at the Lakeside RV Resort by Rjourney in the Baton Rouge area, but our experience was pleasantly surprising. The campground is nestled on the side of a picturesque lake, surrounded by a walking/jogging path. Regularly, swans and ducks gracefully swim in the lake, creating a serene atmosphere for relaxation. For those who enjoy kayaking, they even provide rental services. The campground boasts a well-paved layout with level cement pads for all the sites. While there aren’t many trees among the sites, we had excellent signal for our Starlink. The campground maintained a peaceful and quiet ambiance throughout our stay. Near the front of the park, there’s a refreshing pool, and the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. Additionally, there’s a rec room equipped with reading nooks, game areas, a TV set, and a relaxing lounge. For the little ones, there’s an arcade room to keep them entertained. One of the standout features of the campground is its dog-friendliness. A spacious dog park near the front includes a dog shower and grooming station, making it a great place for pet owners. Since we didn’t get a chance to utilize the laundry facilities, we can’t comment on their quality. Located approximately 30 minutes outside Baton Rouge, the Lakeside RV Resort by Rjourney is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area.

Manager was rude. Told me i need to get my priorities straight. Called me 17 times in 2 hours. Told me she would evict me if I didn't come in right that moment to pay. After I already made prior reservations with another lady there. Charged me almost 500$ a week and a half after I moved out 3 days before check out. Then just tried to hit me for another 702$ and I've been checked out for almost 2 months. I will never stay at another rjourney. Nor will any of the people I know and come into contact with that's looking for a place to park their rv. I will say something nice though. The place was clean.

The staff and management is amazing! Their team keeps the facilities and park very clean. If you put your trash out for pick up, it'll be gone in 15 minutes! They allow you to wash your camper in the park, which is amazing for long term guests. The playground and amenities are clean, free of bugs, and easily accessible. Very quiet park and very friendly neighbors.

The cabin me and my dog stayed in (91) overlooked the lake and it was amazing. So clean, had everything one would need except the food. The campground was immaculate including the dog park and the staff was amazing especially Sheryl at office. It rained the whole time I was there but will be going back when not raining so I can fish. I highly recommend this campground.

Very easy on / off I-12. Also very close to large vase station that can accommodate most rigs. Close enough to Baton Rouge to enjoy it, but far enough away to be safe. I travel for work, so I don’t really partake in the activities a place has, so I can not comment on that. I did however find it pretty quiet, easy to maneuver in, and it felt very safe. I believe it is a good mix of long term and vacationers. Overall I was very satisfied with my week long stay, and will be back. Another important thing to me is ease of booking. I booked completely online, checked in and out after hours. With my schedule this is a huge bonus!!

We stayed here for two weeks May 2022 and it was very nice! The park is very quiet during the week but fills up on the weekend. Pool was a little murky when we were there but they told us they were trying to figure out the chemicals to fix that. The public spaces were well maintained (the playground had tons of spiders but I don't know how much that can be helped) and my son loved the game room and corn hole area. We were surprised to see the resident swan and her little duck friend! Thought that was cute! The surrounding area didn't have much to do but it's situated in a good location to visit New Orleans and Baton Rouge both. We'd visit again if in the area!
