We stayed here in a small Class C for the past two years (April-October ‘24 & ‘25) and enjoyed so many different activities: corn hole, horseshoes, pickleball, tennis, swimming, walking, biking, fishing, kayaking, sailing, paddle boats, putt putt golf, beach games, disc golf, basketball, concerts, pot lucks, working out in the fitness room, dances, game nights, arcade games, billiards, darts, and arts & crafts. But the best part was all the friends we made and how welcoming everyone is… especially the large group of people who play corn-hole. They are like family! I highly recommend this beautiful resort with so many great spaces and activities!

Nice location. Has full hookups and big lots. Enjoy the pool and beach. Management is always nice and very helpful.

Wonderful stay!! Great friendly resort! Loved the open area and dog park for our furry friends. Very dog friendly resort! Weather was too cool to utilize the pool or swimming pond. It was nice to have a laundry facility on site. Full hookup with shower house was a plus. It’s close to two interstate highways so you could hear the traffic. I’m grateful our site was further away otherwise it may have been annoying. We definitely will be back!

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Staff is insanely disrespectful. I was actually baffled. Female manager, "Nancy" I think, is downright hostile. She likes to harass minors apparently for no reason lol. Absolute weirdo. It doesn't matter how well you follow the strict rules, you're still treated like a subhuman by the weird staff. They're a bunch of rich folk who think they're better than you. Don't waste your time, dignity, and especially money here. And if you do... pee in the pool lol.

We’ve been staying at this resort for several months now, and wanted to share some feedback based on our experience. The pool only opened mid-summer. Water quality has been very bad. On one occasion, our pet had stomach issues after drinking tap water, which was concerning. The water is so unclean that our shower develops yellow stains within a day, and we’ve had to install a five-stage filtration system just to make it usable. We’ve also noticed that rules aren’t enforced consistently, and it sometimes feels like certain guests are treated unfairly. For example, while we were told that personal kiddie pools aren’t allowed, we’ve counted at least six others set up around the park. Package delivery is only permitted under special circumstances, and only if pre-approved by staff. Had an incident where a staff member was discriminating against me, my swimsuit being too revealing at the pool, despite it being modest and similar to what others were wearing. I wore this swimsuit to many pools and beaches for many years. Pictures of the inly swimming suits I own and wore that were “too revealing” attached. You decide. Additionally, the beach area is often closed even during posted open hours, and pool hours or updates aren’t clearly communicated—you have to inquire to get any information. The storm shelter is typically locked, making it inaccessible in emergencies, which is a major concern. We’ve also had to fix the swing set at the playground ourselves multiple times, as it’s been broken for a while. Many of the park’s facilities and amenities are showing their age and could benefit from updates and maintenance. The staff smokes everywhere it pleases. Right on the kids play area near beach. Right next to pool. It will take days for them to respond to email, voicemail or message. They have no idea on how to communicate with people.

We are thoroughly delighted with our stay here. The proximity to our residence is convenient, and the staff’s exceptional friendliness and assistance have made our experience truly memorable.

Of all the campgrounds I have stayed in, which is a lot, this one is truly a resort. Super nice people, and accommodating. There are a few cons. Get a good water filter before staying here. The water is really rusty. I along with multiple of my co-workers stayed at different sites all over the park, so its not just one area of the park, and all had rusty water, it stained my toilet and I was using filters from day one. The only other issue is the noise from I-80. The section of the park I stayed in was right next to the highway, there were trees so you cant see it but you could literally throw a rock and hit the interstate and it was right before a bridge so every time a semi-truck hit the bumps before the bridge you heard it, trust me. Coworkers staying on the other side of the park said it was not that bad. It is a beautiful park, but the lot I was in, I couldn't enjoy sitting outside due to the noise. So, stay on the other side of the park, invest in a really good filter, not the inline filters from Walmart, like I did because they do not filter enough, and enjoy this great park.

Nice clean quiet park. We’re here for work not for leisure, so we don’t use lake/pool/etc. would recommend not using the laundry house as the water will stain your clothes, leave them smelling bad, and the dryers will randomly stop minutes after starting so repeatedly you’ll think you have dry laundry when actually you have to keep pumping coins in it to get it to go for longer than 5 minutes at a time. It took me over two hours to dry two half loads of clothing.

Staff was SUPER friendly. We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed every day. Pool was nice. Kids loved the pond/beach area. Some people have complained about the sulfur smell in the water. Spend $20 on Amazon for a in-line filter and you will have zero smell. Definitely will be back.

**I took my entire family out to Leisure Lake for a three day weekend. Four generations, and everyone had a great time. The staff is Extremely friendly and helpful. Me & my Pops both caught a couple nice size Catfish, my little 5&7 yr old Nephews were excited they caught a few Blue gills. Even my Teenage Daughters enjoyed themselves at the Pool and swimming lake. We've decided to make this a yearly event
