A nice surprise when getting into town at 9. Only $10 for the night with water and electric on CONCRETE LOT. Perfect for a quick nights sleep. Showers on the cool side, but did the trick.

If you want to go somewhere that will make you miss being at home this is the place for you. It has alot of potential but between spiders in showers, no toilet paper, crap on the wall it makes it worth going the three miles to clay county park worth it. Oh yea they also consider anything before 3 pm a day and after 3 the next day so if you show up at 7 in the morning be ready to be told to leave at 3 that same day even though they don't say three is departure time, and if you require handicapped fascilities just go sit on the bench. They will call the police to have you taken somewhere that is handicapped accessible. I can only think of one word when I think of lions park, not because of the bathrooms but by the parks and recreation management SLIMY

CLOSED!! We had planned to stop here for a quick overnight as it seemed to be nice online. Arrived at 9 PM to find the entire campground shut down. Nothing was said on their website about being closed.

Can’t beat free. Nice little city park for a quick sleep. It is along a decently busy road and had lots of light at night. Bathrooms ok, passed on using the showers. Tables, fire pits, potable water and electric. Nice playground in the middle of the drive. Used our RTT at an electric site without issue. Did wish for a little more privacy or distance from the road/passerby’s but otherwise ok.
