Great Campground! It's very clean and centrally located to Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Pensacola! Staff was amazing! I had an issue with shade and my solar panel and the moved me with no problems, in one phone call too! I will definitely be returning to this KOA in the future and suggesting it to other camper friends. They have lots of cabins too, boat slips, pool and hot tub. It really has everything you need. Happy camping 🏕!

This location is nice with the water right there but it is not a place I would return to. It was ok clean, but not kept up very well. Lots of maintenance needing done. Ferral cats that steal your food (who bag of hot dog buns) and your pets food. The long term residents or employees maybe? Have a four wheeler that is obnoxiously loud and revved unnecessarily and running all the time for who knows what. Same thing with a gray Porsche - revving the engine just to be loud and FLYING down the roads - def not following 5 mph. It was not peaceful or relaxing, just other people’s noises

This is from 5 years ago when I stayed here in 2020. I’ve stayed at plenty of KOA’s that were very clean and well kept. Owners took pride in how well their facilities were kept. The bathrooms near the camping cabins were nasty. Don’t get me started on how nasty the cabin was…there were BED BUGS. I had never seen a bed bug in my life until I stayed at this KOA. I had horrible bites all over my body, I developed a reaction to it. Luckily, while my husband and I were traveling we realized that we had gotten the bed bugs and spent 500 dollars to have pest control come exterminate our vehicle and then we left all our items in our car so the heat could kill any potential bed bugs that “may” have lived. We didn’t drive his vehicle for a month after that. Just left it in the scalding heat. This KOA should be ashamed themselves ( the owners should be ashamed) and they should not be allowed to be part of the KOA franchises. Disgusting.

Quiet, friendly staff. Not up to KOA standards- sites need significant work to bring in new gravel as sites were not even close to level. Needs landscape work as there were overgrown areas. Sites are not well marked and utilites at site difficult to find/missing. Security guy was very friendly and helpful. They keep up with taking out the trashcan. Overall ok, but could use a serious revamp/update.

My experience here was amazing! There is water access, a pool, clubhouse and playground. The bathrooms throughout the park as long as the clubhouse are always very clean and well maintained thanks to Linda canon! Thank you for a great experience!

I want to start of by saying my family has been coming to this KOA every summer for the last 7 years. We come back every year because we absolutely love this place. We have never had a complaint until we went this summer 2025. It was dirty everywhere with trash cans over filled. The cabin we were in this year was dirty when we got there we had to clean it before we took our things in. The bath rooms and showers where nasty. They now allow non campers in the pool for $5.00 a day, people where drinking and smoking in the pool area. The so called new security guy and his wife where in the pool all day with a buch of there grandkids. Also the security guys son cuts grass there and he was not doing anything but ralking and getting in the pool all day. The security guy told us his wife is the one that cleans and I said no she does not. We were very disappointed in this summer 2025 trip. I don't know if they changed owers but something has to change.

Thank ya’ll for this experience i had and amazing experience Linda the person who cleaned before us did and amazing job. Having the clubhouse and pool being so close together was great not many campsites have had a bathroom so close to the pool. The cleanliness of the bathroom and shower was amazing.

This was our third stay here and we have loved it each time. It appears that this time around the campground is under new management/owner. We had no issues, all staff was friendly and responsive when any issue arose. I do understand this is a business however, my only complaint is that they now allow the general public to use the amenities for a $5 fee. Specifically the pool and while there we got some less than desirable types of people who played loud explicit music and were smoking in the pool area which is not allowed. I did contact security and he did take care of it, as I did not want my children ages 6 and under exposed to that kind of behavior. Other than that small hiccup we enjoyed our stay and will be back again next summer. We were also told that they are working on having more activities for the kids to do like crafts and such which we can't wait to do when we visit again.

We arrived late in the evening at this KOA. Upon arrival when we entered the campground, we did not know where the office was to pick up our site number and map. There are no reflectors on the sign posts and the signage is very small. So, if you are not looking in the right direction nor are your headlights, you will miss the tiny office sign “office ⬆️” . All the campers respected the quiet hours which made for peaceful night sleep. The office opens at 9:00am. However, the office lady showed up between 9:10-9:15am. The ladies bathroom is up to date in coordinated gray and white flooring and wall tile. However, the bathroom was never cleaned during our three night stay. The same dead bugs and gross swear on the flooring was there for our entire stay. The hot tub was a bit undesirable. The campground does have its own boat ramp and docks and is a short walk to. In the morning, there are lots of jumping fish and school(s) of minnows. If you plan on visiting the Naval base for the museum and Fort Barracks, anyone 18 and older needs a “Real ID” to enter.
