Clean campground with nice amenities. If I had kids they would have been endlessly entertained there. Bounce pad, playgrounds, games, staff hosted activities like tie dye, and a pool. They have food trucks sometimes and its overall a very nice campground. Will book with them next time im coming through the area!

my first time at a KOA.. stayed for 5 days.. they do such a good job keeping the grounds clean.. i was VERY impressed with how the bathrooms were so kept up and the staff were VERY nice and "johnny on the spot" with ANYTHING we needed. i made sure and told the staff often how happy i was with the grounds.. i even pulled one of the cleaning staff aside and complimented them on doing such a good job.. we WILL be back.. stay awesome KOA

If I could give this place a million stars I would! I have never been to somewhere so comfy and cute! Our cabin was awesome, the bathrooms were in a convenient area. Showers were clean. I didn’t want to leave! Cindy was so sweet! We will definitely be coming back. 🥲

I stayed here for three nights in my travel trailer while visiting Louisville. This campground is very well kept. I stayed in early September. They gave me a warm chocolate cookie when I checked in and escorted me to the best spot in the whole campground I think. I was in the back corner, right next to the woods, and no campers on either side! How lucky am I? The shower house was fantastic and I enjoyed a couple nice hot showers. Notably, I did not hear any traffic noise at all during my stay. I Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Louisville area.

We stayed here for a meeting in Louisville, so it was convenient. The staff was fantastic. It was nice to get cookies upon our arrival (perfect after a long day of driving!). There was a nice playground and pool and it looked like a lot of activities for kids (including a little train ride). We did not use the bathroom or laundry facilities, so can't comment on them. Overall it seemed like a nice campground. Our only disappointment was how close the sites were to each other. Our RV has slide outs on both sides and it took a few tries to be able to get in position where we could open them and not hit our neighbors (the picnic table and fire pits were across the road because there wasn't enough room on the actual site).

There were so many activities for the kids! The barrel train ride is great! We even were able to rent a golf cart for a day. Between that and the pool, the kids were entertained all weekend. The staff couldn’t be more friendly. Can’t wait to be back for a weekend in October to do the haunted trail.

Our stay was short but great! The lady's that run the activities are literally the best. There is nothing but kind words for them. The grounds were nice. The giant chess/checkers were a big hit with our family. The store was nicely stocked with everything you could need.

We could not have picked a better campground for a 3.5 and 7 year old boy. They played hours at the playground, after a big day at the Louisville Zoo. We were welcomed with warm chocolate chip cookies and had delicious cool lemon water as a refreshment beverage. Bath houses were spotless. Campground was quiet and very clean! Trash pick up in the morning was a nice bonus. The boys played giant chess, bounced on the bounce pad, swung on the zip line. We stayed 2 nights and wanted to stay longer. They have a gorgeous pool on site, regretfully it was too cold for swimming in April 2025. Thank you for an amazing vacation for my dear friend and her “littles”. The site was level and I was led to my site by an employee who helped me back into my full hook up site. The fee was reasonable for the services provided. I encourage anyone to come and stay at the South Louisville KOA. They had cute cabins if you don’t have an RV 🥰

This Campground is so amazing! Everyone is super nice & helpful! The warm chocolate chip cookies you receive upon arrival are very delicious 🍪🍪 The dog park is great too. Our dog got to play with two other dogs in it🐕🐩🐕🦺 The water pressure in the showers🚿 was fantastic! Beware of their new Scoops & Such ice cream🍧 addition in their store, it is fabulous & very addictive. We will definitely be stopping here again in the future too!

Amazing facility. Great hiking trail. Best office staff ever. Best KOA ever. Only $50 for full service back in site. I tend to overlook KOA. My other stops at them were over $100 per night for crowded sites that were not great. This campground may have me reconsider the chain. I will DEFINITELY be staying here again.
