We cancelled RV site 86 days before our scheduled arrival due to a medical issue for my 76 yr old husband. They refused a refund of our $1,446.00. Hard hearted and dispicable treatment of a senior/veteran. ONLY campground that didn't give a refund. Reported to FL A/G who sees a valid complaint. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Absolutely L❤️VE L❤️VE L❤️VE it here!! Trains don't bother me & the new swimming pool is AWESOME!! 🥰 Mary & Lainie are great & go the extra mile for their clients! The park is paved, and I ride my cruiser bike around and ride it to the pool. I'm backed up against this beautiful field that has horses! For this price, it's an amazing place to be, and the folks that are here are so friendly and nice!! I met some great new friends here!! Feels like home!! 🌈✨❤️✨🌈

This is not a hotel. It is a Mobile Home/RV Park. We were residents here for two years. Wonderful park, excellent management and employees. New pool is a great addition to the property. Lots of entertainment in Season. You won’t be disappointed.

We stayed here for a few months during the winter season and really liked it. When the time came to book for the next winter we decided to buy a park model and become residents. The people really do make the difference (residents and staff). Yes, it is an older park but improvements are being made all the time, including a new pool! Now if you’re sensitive to noise, there are train tracks close by and that may deter some people. Personally we don’t find it a problem.

This is my first “long term” stay anywhere since beginning my full time journey. Life happened and I have been required to stay in one place for an extended time for physical therapy following a fall and rotator cuff surgery. After a long search for a place with reasonable prices in the Tampa Bay area I finally found Sandbar. It is an older RV community but lots of updates have occurred. The staff are super and the sites are nicely spaced with a good mix or long and short term residents. You will see there is a train track close but it wasn’t a problem during my stay. If you are in the area I recommend Sandbar RV resort.

Nice small park with a friendly community. Some units need to pulled out due to age. Others just need power washing. This would go a long way to making this park close to perfect! ☺️

Poorly run "resort" So called premium lots are terrible, nothing but sandy mud with no concrete pads. Many dilapidated trailers and mobiles. The sewage stinks most nights. No one to greet you if coming in on a weekend had to ask around to find out the security code for the washrooms. Trains run right next to park, about 20 a day/night and blow their horns loud. No plan activities unless it's done by the guest. Pool didn't open until the last week of March. Last but certainly not least my wife and I couldn't wait until our month stay was over, NEVER go back!

Great place to stay while in the area. Lots of things to do. Read your meter before you plug in. Seems neighbors use the power when there is no one parked on lot. Only had 50amp, but I had a adapter. People were very nice and friendly. If you can't sleep through trains coming and going blowing their horns then you might want to find another place.

New resident here. Been here almost a month. There are a lot of people walking with their dogs. All FRIENDLY, and well socialized dogs are welcome. I really love it here. And the staff is always friendly and helpful. The man in the pic is my neighbor just chilling with my dog and his. I really did get the most wonderful neighbors. The park is very well maintained, and clean. Some people complain about the trains, but it's only every once in a while. For the most part, the park is very quiet and peaceful. Everyone here is very friendly, everyone waves at each other.
