I shot for my first time here with my friends! The man at the front desk is very friendly and explains things well. Pricing is very reasonable when compared to other private ranges; I paid $15 for myself to shoot for three hours (I only shot for about an hour and a half but still worth, in my opinion.) Range officers are all very friendly and seem to enjoy their job and spreading awareness on how to be safe with your guns. Highly recommend for a first timer!

Nice park, very big. We went on the nature walk (we didnt go on the one that was paved), it was very narrow and muddy and overgrown. The side trails were so overgrown that we couldn't access them. So it was very short, like 3 min of trail. We got onto the walk along the canal which was very nice, we saw a lot of turtles, birds, a small alligator and a small snake swimming (you're up on a berm so it's quite safe). We went to the park after (yellow one). It was nice and big, and there were a lot of other kids around. Bathrooms available. Everything was sort of run down but fine.

I cannot get over how well Broward country maintains its public parks. I was in the area for a week of vacation and spent a lot of time in the different parks. This one had the most varied options for things to do. Will definitely come back.

I usually go to Markham Park to walk around and to play on their 18-hole disc golf course. The cost is free on weekdays and 2 dollars per person on weekends. The park is well-maintained, has good nature views if you like strolling around, and many spots where you can picnic and barbecue. I know they have playgrounds, rv camping, dog park, shooting range, and mountain bike trail. If you want to host an event, there are corporate shelters. Lastly, I saw for myself the rc airplane fields, tennis courts, and volleyball courts, but NO basketball courts.

We love coming here, we have camped at the preserve campground and we love it, but please Broward County Parks and Markham Park, this storage/bathroom definitely needs to be rebuilt/upgrade please.

This park is huge and there is so much to do! It does cost $3 per vehicle to enter the park but it is well worth it. I really enjoyed the 2 mile lakeside trail. It was beautiful! Highly recommend!

Very Nice Camping! I stayed here for 2 nights and found this park and campground to be one of the nicest and well maintained county parks I have stayed at. The property is so nice and very quiet at night. I had a little trouble finding the sewer hook up hole in the ground when I got to my site. It was mostly due to the amount of leaves on the ground. I called the office and they sent out a ranger to help. In no time we found it and was set up. If you are in a RV or Van i recommend getting provisions before getting set up. there is nothing really close by for shopping. Walking the grounds here is a big plus for staying at a park. The entire area is full of nature trails, ponds, lakes and activities. There's a shooting range in the park and it is open until late each night but don't let that stop you from staying here. It is not that loud and you can get a space far away from the range. All in all, this is a great place to stay for a few nights and take in all that Florida nature as to offer.
