Really nice place to take the critters and kids to run off some energy. This time of year the fall colors are a sight to see.

Nice and quiet but we did arrive after Labor Day. Very quiet and clean. We arrived about 1:30 but could not check in until 3:00, even though it appeared they weren't full at all. We sat at the beach parking area to await check in time. Just a minor annoyance. Didn't ruin our day.

Great place to bring the family for a day of hiking, swimming and grilling. Plenty to do for the little ones with their 2 playgrounds and sandy beach as well as several fishing piers for catch and release in the stocked stream fed lake. If you're into mountain biking there are 5 miles of beginner to advanced trails including some pretty gnarly "Rocks & Roots" type trails. * Addition: Today my dog and I decided to check out the park on the "other" side of the road and I wish I could say don't bother but I just can't lie so.... I really wanted to keep this info to myself but i wouldn't be able to sleep if I did that. The other park is AMAZING! If you like secluded private, quiet, hidden, retro type outdoor places that are tucked back in the woods literally looking like a forgotten time. I was so surprised after we walked 1/4 mile back into the woods and found this place and I'm not kidding it's even got a playground with a steel slide straight out of 1982!! What a treasure!!

This is a beautiful, quiet campground with generous RV lots that have large and level cement pads. Very few campgrounds have such large pads. We have a 40-foot fifth wheel and had no problems getting in and leveling the rv. The grounds are very well maintained with a beautiful lake and beach, paved trails and a nice bath house. Dog and kid friendly. Plus they offer a Veteran discount. I look forward to returning.

Very nice county park, in northern Kalamazoo, offering full hook-up and 50/30 amp service. Lots of space and trails to explore, a beach for swimming, fishing locations, playground for kids. Only has 38 spots for camping.

I actually found this place on accident. I was searching for places to walk or relax, and I didn't see this place listed, but while driving I stumbled on this place. I have to say that this is beautiful; it's quite, it's peaceful, there's various spots that you can sit away to just think and relax. It's dog friendly; dogs have plenty of space to run around, play and have fun. I love the fact that there is also a park for kids to play, let alone they also have a small Beach like display which to me seems so calming. There is multiple picnic areas, and there's a restroom that's available also. There's also a softball field and a tennis court. As I stated this park simply is set up to have multiple activities for various occasions. This park is very spacious, I love it! I think I found a new spot!
