Great campground on the south side of the channel. Only 15 minutes to either Ludington or Pentwater, plenty to do in the vacinity and a Frisbee disc golf course surrounds the campground on a hill. The restrooms are always clean and the Wi-Fi works!

Nice small campground with older tree canopy providing shade. Easy to maneuver with our 40ft motorhome. Many hiking trails and 3 nice disc golf courses. Level 50amp with FHU.

Beautiful campground with lots of trees surrounding campgrounds and providing separation and privacy between sites. Quiet and soothing. Helpful friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

This is mostly a campground for RVs, but if you’re looking for a place to stay near very busy Ludington, the cabins here are very affordable and clean. You need your own sleeping bag and pillow but they are a great option and they weren’t listed on 3rd party sites so it’s worth calling these folks directly. Super nice staff as well!

I think this is one of the nicest and quietest places to camp. There is a charcoal grill on every site, a fire ring, and really nice bathrooms. Sites are well-shaded by the forest canopy, but it is not buggy or uncomfortable. I was able to maintain a FREE campfire all week by just using ground deadwood and dried leaves. It was awesome, and my kids loved it. The showers are also top-notch, but they require a quarter. It will get you seven minutes. It's not a big deal to me. I only ever use 4-5. The hydroelectric reservoir is across the road, which is neat, and the grounds are 12 minutes to Ludington. Wifi works great. It's not a glamping place like KOA or Vacation Station, but I prefer the quiet. Nice campground and nice paved loop for the kids to ride bikes. At $35/night, the place is awesome and has a high dollar to value ratio.

Fantastic campground tucked out of the city with lots of trees. Bath house is clean and the showers are great too. The tinderbox disc golf course is within walking distance which is a great way to get outside and exercise to anyone who’s never tried it. The office even has discs you can borrow for free! 10/10

I'm a travel nurse, and was in a bind trying to find a campground, as I am contracted here in Ludington. The staff here at Mason Co Campground were able to accommodate me....AND....assist me in parking my RV. The gentleman even brought me some firewood so I could "relax and enjoy", something I haven't been able to do since I found myself stranded (the holiday week and all campgrounds being full). They went totally ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me, and I just cannot say enough about them here. It's a beautiful, quiet area with mature trees offering shade and privacy. A true GEM. The staff are angels. Thank you ALL!!!

We enjoy camping here in the fall. It's nice and quiet. Staff is always very nice an accommodating. Its just a short drive to the beach. The disc golf course this year was very fun for our boys. They could throw an come back to camp if they got tired half way thru. It kept them busy. We even played a few rounds of glow disc golf as well
