This is a really nice, clean, campground. We stayed for a few days in August. The owner was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for two nights in Class C towing Jeep, July 2025. Owner was accessible (on site), helpful, and friendly. Pull-through site was long with room to spare, plus had full hookups on both sides so you could choose which direction to pull in/out. Electrical box looked new, water hookup looked new, and the best part of the new sewer hookup was that it was at the right height for our Class C (most are too high!). Did not use the restrooms nor the wifi (used our own) so I can't comment on those. I know that the owner is still working to build up amenities like laundry and shower facilities, but we didn't need either so we were fine. 25-minute drive to downtown Talkeetna which is a cute town with a small River Park containing a short dog-friendly walking trail. Downtown had live music (Saturday), outdoor dining, clean public restrooms, gift shops, sweets, and was also very dog friendly.

Courtney (owner) was friendly accommodating. Working very hard to rebuild after the fires of 2019. Large communal firepit area.

Two night stay and to be honest it was a great stop. This Park was destroyed in 2019 due to fire, then COV hit, so it was a few years before the owner could get back and start making repairs. Coupled with his mother dying, this guy has dealt with many challenges. All that said, he has made progress. There are a number of pull through as well as back in sites that are FHU. The pull through sites are arranged for buddy camping if two RVs are traveling together. There is a small bathhouse with two toilets and a single sink in between. Clean and according to the owner, recently finished. While we were there he was finishing a storage shed (he planned to shut down operations 6 Sept). He has approved plans to construct a single log cabin that will house a laundry, shower and perhaps a small gift shop/grocery store. He is on the schedule with local builders to start construction as soon as the season starts in 2025. He'll do all the finish work himself with friends but the main structure will be done by a construction firm. There is wifi provided by Starlink and our AT&T had three bars. Several trash cans throughout the park to dump your trash. Only down side is there isnt anything to do nearby. You are an hour from Anchorage/Palmer to the South and same to Denali to the North. Its a great stop if youre traveling either way for a safe nights sleep. We camped at Mat Su Rv Park in a Travel Trailer

Good Full huck up campground, friendly owner. There's a flush toilet but not showers (July, 2024). Good wi-fi, quiet place, a good stop on your way to or from Denali.

My husband and I traveled up to Alaska to look for a Summer home. I was very blessed to find this place. We were traveling with a dog and 2 cats. The owner Collin was very accommodating. He was like having family next door. We found a place and signed papers at the end of the season. However, Collin helped us to be able to stay a little longer after he closed the park. He is still rebuilding after the 2019 fires. Everyday he was working on something. I would totally recommend supporting this place and the owner. This is the type of place we all appreciate and wish most of Amercan business could go back to. Thank you again for an awesome summer. See you in 2024!❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍🫎🦅🏞🤩

Planned to stay here but deterred by the rainy weather, we ended up refill water and dump here. The facility is the most convenient one during our trip from Anchorage to Denali. The host Colin(hope I spell correct) is very nice and friendly.
