Absolutely top 5 park we have stayed at, we are full-time rv'ers and this park is a gem. Clean bathroom/shower house and laundry room. Easy in and out, plenty of room to maneuver. Would definitely stay here again.

I'm wondering if people giving this a 5 have ever been to an actual 4 or 5 star resort. This is definitely not a resort, it's a campground. Our upgraded site was nice but you could get a view from any site. The pad was very broken up, so the gravel sites are just as nice. We did enjoy the dog park and pool (cold). The view at night with no light pollution was beautiful! But this is definitely not a resort. And this small, small town is really just a golf course with a few restaurants by it.

We felt like rock stars staying at this place with a pool in the middle of the desert. The community clubhouse was amazing. Had comfy seating for indoor cool gatherings, a refrigerator for storing poolside beverages, a pool table, a pickleball court, and the nicest and cleanest RV park bathrooms I have ever experienced. It was amazing to have access to the Lajitas resort amenities across the road with the most scenic golf course I have ever seen. We don't play golf, but I highly recommend renting a golf cart and taking an evening tour of the course. The view at hole 14 is stunning.

My girlfriend Pamela and I visited this RV park in November 2024 and stayed for a week. The customer service was outstanding — everyone we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We even had the pleasure of meeting the manager, who took time to personally show us around, almost like a private tour guide. The amenities in the park were clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. There are endless opportunities for walking and exploring the surrounding trails, and the area is a hidden gem for anyone interested in geology — fascinating rock formations are everywhere. It's a peaceful, friendly place that made a lasting impression on us. We truly had a hard time leaving and have already promised ourselves that we'll be back. Thank you, Pamela and Michael

We camped with a 5th wheel. Park was clean and well kept. Showers were clean. The pool was refreshing. The service was very nice. Lovely people. We enjoyed touring Big Bend and coming home to the Maverick RV Park in the late afternoon. We played pickle ball and swam. Across the street is a restaurant if you don't plan on cooking. The area offers activities if you're there for a short stay. The star gazing at night is amazing.

This is my first time staying at Maverick Ranch RV Park and I would absolutely plan a return trip the location was awesome great access to Big Bend national Park. The full hook ups are great, the pool is really nice, the views are even better. In the night sky is the darkest I’ve ever seen and it is amazing along with awesome sunrises and sunsets. Highly recommend this location.

This is a great desert night sky park. The staff are friendly and the food in the saloon and restaurant are great quality and tasty. The resort is busy during spring break. The Cottenwood market is great for any thing additional you need while here.

This is my favorite RV Park in the Big Bend area. The restrooms, showers, and laundry are always clean. They have a large fenced dog park so we can let our three dogs run loose a few times every day. As far as I know, there is no other RV Park in the area with a dog run. The folks in the office are helpful and will do their best to accommodate your needs for a parking spot. There's a nice little grocery store and gas station just outside the RV park on the highway that has a deli with a good selection of beer and wine as well as most everything else you'd expect to find in a grocery store, plus some things you need for camping. There are lots of trails on private property just outside the RV Park that you are allowed to hike. We go out there every year for the Big Bend Ultra trail race.

Though the views within the RV park can’t hold a candle to those just a bit down the road, this lovely campground is well worth a visit. All building are in great shape. The sites are spacious, but with no privacy. Management was helpful and respectful. All staff members encountered at the campground and wider resort were also respectful. We will definitely return if in the Big Bend area again.
