Melbourne Beach Mobile Park
Overview
Melbourne Beach Mobile Park offers a classic Florida coastal experience on a scenic barrier island. This well-established active 55 plus community welcomes RV travelers looking for a peaceful, sun-drenched retreat away from the crowds. The park captures a nostalgic atmosphere where the rhythmic sounds of the Atlantic surf meet the gentle breezes of the Indian River Lagoon. Lush tropical landscaping and a welcoming neighborhood feel make it an inviting destination for those seeking a long-term seasonal stay or a quiet coastal getaway in a prime waterfront setting.
Location & Surroundings
Situated directly on the iconic Highway A1A, the park occupies a narrow, picturesque strip of land between two major bodies of water. This unique positioning means guests are never more than a short walk from the shoreline. To the east lies the vast Atlantic Ocean, while the western edge provides direct access to the Indian River Lagoon, famous for its incredible biodiversity. The surrounding Melbourne Beach area is intentionally residential and quiet, preserved from the heavy commercialization found in many other Florida beach towns.
Amenities & Park Features
Residents and visitors enjoy the luxury of private beach access, allowing for uninterrupted days of sunbathing, shell hunting, and shore fishing just steps from their RV. On the lagoon side, the park features a private fishing pier and dock, which serves as the perfect vantage point for watching spectacular sunsets or spotting local manatees and dolphins. On-site facilities are designed for comfort and convenience, including a clean laundry room, a community clubhouse for social gatherings, and well-maintained shuffleboard courts that foster a friendly, active environment for all guests.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the close proximity to Sebastian Inlet State Park, located just a few miles south, which is a premier Florida destination for surfing, snorkeling, and saltwater fishing. For a unique wildlife experience, the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge offers a chance to learn about sea turtle conservation. Those seeking local culture can visit the historic Melbourne Beach Pier to browse charming boutiques and enjoy fresh seafood at local coastal eateries that define the relaxed pace of the Space Coast.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is the ideal choice for retired RVers and seasonal snowbirds seeking a low-key, community-focused lifestyle during the winter months. It appeals specifically to travelers who value direct water access and a quiet atmosphere over high-energy resort amenities. If you prefer a quiet morning walk on the sand followed by an afternoon of fishing on the lagoon, this tranquil park offers the perfect pace for a relaxing and authentic Florida beach experience.

Very pleased with our stay right on the ocean. Staff was nice as well. It's a no frills place or course, but it did have full hookups. After all, nature is really the attraction here. Loved it and will be back!!!

Mobile/manufactured homes and RV spaces. All leased lots/spaces. Private access to Mel Beach on the East and Indian River on the West.

I haven't stayed but I have met so many of the tenants on my daily walk. They tell me how great it is and it is only about $1000 to park there with your RV or camper. I might be a future tenant!!!

Ocean beach camping in the best location. The best sunrises with just a minutes walk to the beach. No reservation policy can make planning difficult. Prices are the most reasonable for beachfront. Definitely, a place to keep returning to.

We happened upon this sweet spot while going to the beach just across the street from the ocean. Stopped in and got a spot without reservations. Super friendly family owned business. Clean restrooms/showers and laundry facilities. Friendly and courteous long term RV campers. Highly recommend and will stay again while in Melbourne. And no bugs unlike crowded Long Point Campground.

I loved it. We saw a nighttime launch which was great from the almost empty beach. We camped on or right next to the beach this time which was beautiful except there were very high winds all week and couldnt leave windows open to hear the ocean at night because the wind was so loud. Not the fault of the campground but mother nature! Our bikes & camper were rusting in 3 days! It ruined much that we couldn't get off. Live and learn! I'd return to the other side of the road, we camped over there before. It was a nice stay, deserves 5 stars.... mother nature, 3 stars! 😉

Very friendly staff! Quiet place and good size lots. Nice beach across the street, not crowded at all. My wife and I were walking on the beach late one night and we saw about 50-75 baby sea turtles heading towards the water. The next night we saw a mother sea turtle going back into the water. That alone made the entire visit worth it. Will return, if in the area!

Shower pressure wasn't the best in the bathhouse. But location to the beach is awesome.

Absolutely beautiful!! Walk right onto beach from the campsites. The beach isn't packed with people. You may even have the opportunity to witness baby sea turtles making their way to the ocean because the sea turtles come lay their eggs in the dunes directly infront of the campground! The staff are very nice as well!! Highly recommend!
