We just spent 2 weeks unwinding at this very quiet and picturesque park. Had a site in the full timers section and all our neighbors were friendly and very helpful. Our site overlooked the lake and fishing was great when the weather allowed. Other small nearby lakes were also excellent (Fish Lake). RV sites are all full hookup and ours was more than large enough for the 43 ft coach. Roads in the park are easy to negotiate with generous corners. Most roads are paved and the sites have gravel pads. The only slight negative was the water does have a iron content that does have an odor and will stain fixtures (common to this area of the UP). Our coach is fully self contained so we didn't use the camp bathrooms. I heard the park was purchased by new owners a few years ago and I did see some evidence of improvements. Overall, this park is a hidden gem!

This was a nice campground very “State Park” style. Camp store has some essentials. The blowup water park situation is where this place shines. That thing is a blast. Exhausting but very fun. I seen a lot of kids on bikes but there really wasn’t anywhere to go. I had to leave the park and cross the highway to find somewhere to go that had some distance. People in our group took a walk down the railroad tracks, that was fun, went down to the bridge. The biggest downside was tue bugs got really bad once the sun set. We couldn’t hang around outside by the fire they were so bad. I’m sure it was a happenstance situation not really something to hold against them but I felt I needed to note.

Our stay was fine, was a halfway point between stops but I wouldn't search out again. It was buggy with stumps throughout the camp and broken fire rings in the lot. We had full hookup so did not utilize their showers. Utilized the laundry which was okay. Their dump stations both said "out of order", which we did not need, but plan accordingly. Beach was the best part, had fun water activities with jump pad. We did pay an extra $25 per kid (which we were informed of when booking).

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is nice right on the lake. We like the amenities but had issues with noise. The campsite has a policy for quiet hours but does absolutely nothing to enforce it. I complained to the staff about kids on golf carts with loud radio music at 11:30pm. Then the next night it was the same thing. Clearly the staff do not care. We will not be back

This campground leaves a lot to be desired. Grounds maintenance is a joke. Tall grass all over. No weed eating done. Lot hadn’t been mowed in quite some time. Seen a guy spot mow once the entire week we were there. Stayed here a week mainly bc I was super sick and traveling wasn’t ideal. Couldn’t hardly sit outside due to the mosquitoes attacking you. Beach area was nice but again trash items all over just like our lot. Wouldn’t buy anything from that store especially when the lady told my dad she had to keep her candies covered up or the mice would get in them. I wouldn’t go back.

We have been to Michigamme Shores numerous times. We usually get the same spot that fits our RPod. It's always a very relaxing time, beautiful views of the lake and the people who run it are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. And shout out to BDogs BBQ. Awesome food right at the park!!

The amazing water obstacle course makes for very full afternoons of playing. They have a huge bouncing air bladder and a very large beach area. I don't know much about the rv sites but the campsites we got for our tents were well wooded and near restrooms. The bathrooms are pretty rough on the top side. The showers are decently sized, individual and will give you a warm shower.

This was just a beautiful location. We all had such a good time. The train is close but we barely noticed it and it went by only once a day. The store is well stocked and open until 8 pm which is convenient. The price of kayak rentals seemed a little high since no one used them and the bugs were horrible. So bring lots of protection. The bathrooms were clean and I'm picky in that department

Nice campground our site was right next to the train tracks, we had 1 train go by so it wasn't bad. The bathrooms were nice and the shower had nice warm water. The only issue with the shower was the light kept timing out and I had to wave my arms around for it to come back on. The water pressure at the camp site was low. Overall a nice place and the beach looked really nice and they had a playscape in the water.

We had the best time at this campground! All of the amenities were so awesome. The campground owner was so friendly and was so involved with activities for the kids. We could spend the whole summer up there! We will for sure be go back. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would.
