This place is horrible. I rented the same place for more than 4 years. Theft is part of the problem. The gate constantly has a problem. If you rent on the second floor, there is no access to carts, there are no bathrooms, the maintenance is horrible. Vivian, one of the workers yells and insults by phone , arguing that she has authorization from the managers and supervisors to yell at the customers and cut off the call. This place does not have good customer service. I would consider it a dangerous place if you are a woman, you have to be Prepared for Vivian to yell you on the phone, if you want to pay automatically here you can't, every first day of the month you stay outside without being able to enter, since the policies of this place are like that. You pay every month and they don't run your card until after the 3rd of each month, leaving you without access to your unit for 2 days. Horrible, I made the report. I hope no one goes through this, it's a bad place to do business.

I would advise EVERYONE to stay away from this storage place! My son thought he would pick an inside place because it would be safer than outside. They boast great security and that’s a joke. His unit was broken into, his thirty year collection of comic books totaling about $25K but far more sentimental than the $, all his 80’s figures & memorabilia, two snowboards and more were all stolen. His personal artwork destroyed. Someone knew what was in that unit and it all points to an inside job. They only keep surveillance for 30 days. His wasn’t the only one broken into. It was obvious walking around the number of locks that appeared locked but were cut like his. Cubesmart offered two additional months free in compensation. That was it. No attempts to investigate. Seriously? Why on earth would he leave the few things left at the same storage area? In the end it was bad enough to have everything stolen. But the callousness of the manager and Cubesmart was so wrong. The manager was very nice of course when he was deciding on a storage area. But once something was wrong they offer no help or empathy, not even an “I’m sorry”. All I could think about was all the other people who left stuff in storage and didn’t check it once a month. Definitely not a storage area we would recommend and doesn’t even deserve one star; but it was the only way this review could be put up.

This review is for Midgaurd, the most recent company to manage this property. Absolute worst experience I have had at any business in Colorado when dealing with the little frustrated guy working the front desk. I believe his name was Chandler. First off they are completely falsely advertising. They are absolutely not a 24 hour facility although their website and door signs state that they are. On top of that they are located right beside one of Denver's largest homeless encampments. You have to drive through a tent city to get there. Here's my experience though. Me and my 4 children got here around 12 am, after paying online, only to be confused by not being able to enter; the message on the key pad said it was after hours even though the sign on the door said 24 hour access. We returned the next day. When we asked for a dolly to move our stuff, Chandler refused saying the office closes at 5, even though he was allowing 2 caucasian men to use a dolly. When we expressed our frustration about the false advertisement of 24 hour access, he raised his voice, cut us off and was super rude. We asked for our money back, he agreed to reverse the charges. He never did and actually charged us again. When we called to inquire the phone number was out of service for days. We finally got through a week later and Chandler started getting extremely rude, mouthing off, and hung up the phone on us and refused to give us the contact info for the regional manager. Do not use this company to store anything as they have literally the most hostile, angry, frustrated employee I have ever interacted with in this great state. I can't say for sure but I totally get racist vibes from angry chandler, and considering he refused me, a black woman, a simple dolly to move a u haul full of furniture, while allowing two Caucasian men to use one, I'd say I'm not too far from the truth. They stole our money, their phone number seldom works, they falsely advertise 24 hour access, and their customer service is worse than the DMV. They are an absolute stain on the image of this beautiful city and there are soooo many other, well managed storage facilities to choose from here in Denver, to risk putting your valuables in the hands of these angry people. I wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy.

*all reviews prior to this date are under cube smart ownership, not reliant storage* They recently bought a cube smart in denver but the transition has been a nightmare. Given I waited until last minute to book a unit a unit, the process should never be this painful. Tuesday morning I spoke with a cube smart employee. I reserved a unit but never paid for it, by the afternoon the office was closed. I show up Wednesday to secure the unit only to be told they don’t have internet and phones are down. A corporate manager agreed to the price cubesmart quoted but sent me the contract at a different price. I show up first thing Thursday to find there is still no internet or working phones. Same story in the evening. The employee working the store wasn’t aware the phones were down and had me call the store to prove it. Very poor execution for such a big acquisition. Can’t even provide a working phone line.
