Quiet country setting. Next to golf course

1. Park Quality - I have very mixed thoughts about the overall park. There is a lot of beauty here with a nice proximity to the golf course. (a huge benefit if you golf) But, the noise from Friar Rd, the narrowness of the park road which make vehicles going by your site exceptionally loud, the goat head thorns, and just a general malaise from maintenance about the upkeep of the RV part of the park. 2. Sites - All sites are concrete pads that are fairly level. Utilities were good with the exception of extremely hard water. My site had loads of goat head thorns and I actually removed a half dozen plants. Spacing between sites was decent. 3. Location - The park is somewhat isolated and is not walkable to anything. Commissary and BX were a bit of a drive. (Mainly I went to Miramar) 4. Noise - While I was there, the motorcycles and diesel pickups were very disturbing as they left for work around 5:30 am. (speed also seems to be something they could care less about) Then there was Friar Rd. There was absolutely no peace and quiet as this road was a main thoroughfare for every loud vehicle on their way to and from work. And finally throw in the early morning golf maintenance and it’s a full blown sound nightmare. (I was in a site right along the golf course) 5. Cell Service - Verizon was three bars of 5G 6. Wifi - Park WiFi was 20 Mbps down and 3 Mbps up. For my Starlink, I got 178 Mbps down and 11 Mbps up. 7. Rates - $67 a day plus $3 a day for a dog 8. Access - The park is not on an installation. 9. Dog Friendliness - The presence of the goat head thorns and NO DOG signs make me say they are not very friendly to dogs. There is a small off leash park at the very back but it is overrun with gophers. Wrapping it up. There are a lot of negative things I had to say about this place and the longer I am away the more I am convinced I would not return. If I did not have a dog, that might change my view of this park

A great place for the whole family, for a large group, there is a play area and a restroom , there is a large parking lot.

They are increasing prices again. Nothing has been done to the park to excuse the price hike. The bugs are terrible. There is no pool and the washer and dryers are expensive and do not work. Campland or Sun outdoors is worth it.. not here

Ground maintenance start work at 5 am. Sometimes carts, leaf blows etc are your alarm clock

Rule city - No fire pits No dog cage outside Over priced for a military RV park - state parks are half what they are charging- it’s obvious they’re trying to make money and not really helps the people because they are charging way more than other parts in the area. It’s not really a place to enjoy for vacation as almost all the sites are where people are living permanently if you’re just trying to be someplace to sleep at night this is the place for you

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay at a very clean, quiet, well planned RV park. Loved the layout, dog park, picnic tables and lighthouse power pole. Thank you. Will be back!

Unfortunately, our trip was marred by the fact that we had neighbors that kept us awake until 2AM every night. Although we complained it continued. In addition, 4 people work in the office and the phone is never answered.

Stayed here for 4 days. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Made sure our check in was easy. Nice space between spots. Full hookups. The park was nice. I would stay here again.
