Campground OK for access to NEX, Commissary, and close to USNA. Annex needs some love and care to help preserve and upgrade facilities.

This is our third time staying here. We love it. The staff are very helpful and courteous. Marisol did a great job keeping us updated with any changes and the entire staff was so positive and upbeat. The rooms do need some updating but the location is great. We stayed here because one of our kids was attending a sports camp.

Ten of us made plans to have dinner at Middleton's before taking a short cruise from the Annapolis harbor for New Year's 2020. Thinking it would be a late night we decided to stay in Annapolis. Two of our friends are retired Navy and suggested the Navy Getaway. They procured 5 rooms all which were excellent. Our facility was a 2 room suite with a living room area and separate bedroom which we used to host a get together before going to dinner. Check in was good with great recommendations offered by the friendly staff. Our suite was excellent, well kept and nicely decorated. The bed was super comfortable and made for a good sleep after our New Year's celebration. Highly recommend if you are military or have friends that are.

Great campground for its location and priced great: $23/night for a 30 ft partial hookup. Biggest drawback: no campfire rings. You can have a campfire, but you have to have your own portable fire ring. And the on base fire department has to give you a burn permit which only lasts 8 hours. After they come by and inspect your setup. The attached picture is Site 9.

I really like this campground! It has great hiking/walking trails, my dogs, husband and I love it! The bath house is always clean and the NEX/commissary is literally down the street. Downtown Annapolis isn't far at all and has tons of stuff/restaurants. Highly recommend it. The daily prices are decent and not too high!

Nice wooded campground but not especially big-rig friendly. You should call first, get assigned a site, park your RV and proceed to the MWR to register. You do not want to take your rig to the office; it can be done if you're are a great driver but it won't be fun, I promise. Even with a reservation, don't expect to get early access to your site. When we initially made our reservation we were told to call at noon for a site assignment. Day of arrival I called at 11:30 and was told to call back at 1:00. At 1:00 we were told that they don't usually "get their paperwork" (from the host onsite I presume) until 2:00. However that person put us on hold and came back with a site assignment. There is water and electric but no sewer hookup. There is a dump spot next to the bathhouse that can be accessed with a blue boy on foot. The drive-through dump station is across from the Commissary and NEX. It's behind the car wash and it's a bit tight too. All in all if you have to be in this area, it's an acceptable place. The bigger your holding tanks are, the better it is.
