The park is nice. the onstruction are unclear google maps AND trucker Garmin said you couldn't get there by car or bus. The poor girl in the office also couldn't explain herself oyr of a paper bag. The place needs more signage for the park AND what facilities are there the map they give doesnt say anything about laundry

Just moved in, hook ups were great and I got a drive through concrete pad for $650 per month including utilities. Internet was terrible though at my end at least. 15 min drive to work was nice. Restroom and coin-operated laundry facilities were good and cheap. The have 50/30/20 amp outlets which were necessary for me.

My wife and I stayed on site 50 for a week visiting with our daughter and son-in-law. The concrete pad was large enough for our 30’ travel trailer and tow vehicle. The full hook ups worked without issue, the grounds were well maintained, the environment was quiet and peaceful and the price inexpensive. The Barksdale Famcamp comes well recommend

We've stayed here several times because we have family in the area. Customer service is good but the cleanliness and overall condition leave a bit to be desired. The grass is very high, especially around water/electric hookup. The AC in the restrooms and laundry area were either turned off or not working. The laundry room had not been cleaned in a while and one of the washers was out of order. The washer has apparently been needing a part for quite a while as the notes on it looked old. We'll probably be back just because of the cost and convenience but we were disappointed with the overall condition of things.

Good RV park, though it's about a 13 minute drive around the flight line from the main part of the base. Commercial gate was closed so we had to enter through main gate where security may have to move barriers for long rigs, as they did for a fellow RVer. Park consists of an older park and a newer adjacent open-spaced park with level concrete pads. Dirt roads have pot holes. Confusing to get around - better signage would help. There is as an adequate laundry room. Base exchange has a food court and Starbucks. If on a short stay, recommend the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City, a 15 drive from base. It's a modern shopping area on the Red River.

If you're PCSing in or out, do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM TLF - stay here instead! (Barksdale TLF was the absolute worst - the oldest/dirtiest/smallest rooms that we have ever experienced in 14 years of military moves). Fam Camp offers several options for families (mobile homes) to enjoy. The grounds, homes, and facilities are very well maintained and all of the employees are extremely kind and helpful. There is an asphalt trail to walk on, two awesome playgrounds within walking distance, and lots of grassy areas for kiddos to play. The cherry on top is that it is less expensive to stay here than it is to stay in TLF and every unit is pet friendly. Total no-brainer!

This is a military campground. Well maintained and has all necessary items a camper needs.
