Very nice military area with 2 rv parks, bath house, laundry, playground and picnic shelters. Trails and disc golf nearby. Mostly quiet, lots of shaded areas.

We have stayed here twice now and just love it. Big spacious sites and full hook-ups make for a great camping experience. Meeting other vets and military members make it a really fun time, had the grandkids with us for the fall festival and they had a blast. Water views are spectacular!!

Great piece of property for all types of recreation! We’ve been camping there for 30 years. Great trails for hiking and biking. Frisbee golf course through the woods. Great waterfront with boat ramp!

We love this place. It is family friendly with lots to do. We felt very safe and had plenty of space in between RVs. I love how they honor our soldiers and country by playing Morning and Evening Colors. Reminding us of just what this old Naval base represents and how we can share a peaceful and safe space with friends and family.

We are retired Army, first time camping here. Loved it will be back next year. Only negative thing is shower rooms need a bit of a overhaul(updating) but they are clean just some rust etc.on first one by laundry. Our spot seemed to be the one, people kept telling us "you guys got the good spot"🤭 we really lucked out picking it. Great place to camp for our dogs. Bring your bug spray, the warmer it gets the bugs want to feast on you.

Blue Angel is a great place to stay in the Pensacola area. It’s off base and could use some updating but all in all it’s good. The roads leading into the park need to be replaced and they need to have a good WiFi added. Even if the price were to increase a little it would still be worth it.

Off the beaten path. Very laid back campground. The sunsets are beautiful. Fun little beach. Can't beat the price!

Here are the good things about this campground- - the campground host was super responsive and helpful. - there are some fantastic trails where you can explore and your dog can be a dog. -shady, mostly spacious sites. -quiet, nice people. Now the not so good things about this campground- - toilets and showers were appallingly awful. No locks on the doors, although signage states they are cleaned every day from 08:00-08:45, they were not. -the dump station is bizarre. -roads need grading and upkeep. -several sites not being utilized because of maintenance issues. Overall, we felt safe, the dogs were happy, and it was a bargain to be sure. The facilities across the massive parking lot were so much nicer, we showered and did laundry over there at Battleship Row. Recommendations: bulldoze the bathrooms and rebuild. Get the deferred maintenance done!

First time staying at this location. We were at site 2 on Battleship row. Two things you need to know. First they take reservations but do not assign you a spot. So if you are a large 5th wheel with a patio or toy hauler, you may only have a spot with a tree out back. They discourage site swapping. Second is the lovely trees in this park. They provide shade, but drop leaves and acorns all year round. There are palms near by loaded with purple berries that the birds either eat or transport to your rv. Roof and slide cleaning are a must. Other than these two things it is a beautiful quiet park.

Nice park , with 2 RV parks, we stayed at Anchor Cove. A lot of trees provide shade, spots are pretty big, some back in some pull through. Water and electricity only, dump station available. Good Verizon and T Mobile service. Clean boathouse. Laundry facilities are available at the second campground. Beautiful views of the sunset, beach access.
