Great camp. Right outside Tyndall’s main gate. The hosts are way nice. Taylor was very accommodating to the changing dates of our approximately six week stay.

Really great place but we really don't like the early morning reveille. We are retired and really would like to sleep in on vacation. Would be ok if they just turned it down, way down.! Not everyone wants to be woke up early

This is an awesome FamCamp! The young lady who helped us check in was an absolute delight, so friendly and helpful. The campground felt safe, well-managed, and welcoming from the start. Our site was level and convenient, with full hookups and plenty of space to be comfortable. The bathhouse and laundry areas were clean and well maintained throughout our stay. And yes, you’ll definitely hear aircraft taking off and landing, which was another absolute delight for us! We’d absolutely stay here again.

We were looking for an RV park and luckily found Tyndall AFB Fam Camp. The spaces were so maintained and plenty of room between campers. The shower facilities were outstanding and really clean. The lodge where people can gather was really nice, with ping pong, pool table, many tables, and a really nice kitchen that you can use. Diana Vincent was absolutely a gem helping us get registered and was really pleasant to deal with. So if you’re looking for a great place to stay, I highly encourage you to check it out.

We stayed in our camper for a couple months here when we first moved to Panama City. The staff is great and so friendly! The other patrons being military we always felt safe and the best part before we moved into our home it was less than 5 minutes to the office on Tyndall. They have onsite laundry, propane refill, garbage dumpsters, a community building, dog park and views of the water all around. You’re not far from downtown Panama City or from st Andrew’s for restaurants and bars.

We have been here for over 60 days no issue, come 4th of July weekend Saturday we were doing a low country boil at our site and our pot spring a leak so we had to buy a new one so it put us a little later in the day. We went to the community center and cooked there, we ended up eating a little later than we wanted. The camp host came in at 845 and said you need to leave we asked to have an extra 15 minutes to finish our food, putting us at 915 he said no and proceeded to kick us out at 9 sharp, literally hovered over us until we covered our last tray with tin foil and walked out of the door promptly at 9 pm forget accidents and things that happen. We asked for a measley extra 15 minutes to finish our food! No you just be out by 9 pm sharp!!!! I mean come on what the hell would it have hurt for us to have an extra 15 minutes concert down our food, the closing time used to be 10pm but I guess there was to late for the old folks!

RV Park was quiet except for the jets. Water was not flowing like we expected and was shut off for most of one day due to a main break on base. Staff was amazing especially the manager and Diana!

The sites are large with Full Hookups. The clubhouse has a large gathering area with television, pool table, and ping pong. There is an outdoor fireplace and covered area where movies and social events are held. They hold many social events. This is a great resort for Military and Veterans.

First, it's an RV Park, not a hotel. You make reservations online or over the phone, and I suggest doing that three+ months ahead. The park is fairly large, and there are a number of spots with good water views. It is well maintained, being a military park. It's NOT on base, so there's no id to flash to get in. The people staying here are all very nice and friendly. We went to the gorgeous clubhouse to do laundry, and there was a potluck dinner taking place. Even though no one knew us, we were invited several times to 'eat up, there's plenty of food'. A number of couples were playing cards at several tables. Shower/bathroom facilities were in the same building. They were more than adequate for our needs. When we were there, it was actually snowing outside. With that in mind, it took several minutes for the shower water to get warm. I was almost ready to call it quits when the cold was replaced by warm, then it went to too hot. I'll take hot over cold every time! It was a great stay (except for the unreasonable cold temps)... 👍👍
