We have been here three times in the last few months. It’s amazing! My kids love the giant jumping pillow. The sand is nice and the rentals are great. Also there is a great playground and lots of shade.

Man, where to begin. The Toledo Bend Army Rec Site staff are fantastic. I dealt with Bruce and Zachary the most and they very clearly love their jobs and love serving the guests. The bathrooms/showers were immaculate despite a few… unaware… guests lightly trashing the bathroom. Regardless, the staff were on top of it and worked tirelessly to keep the facilities clean and ensure an enjoyable experience for my and other families. Can’t speak for peak season, but I’d say there was a comfortable number of patrons for late April and plenty of well-raised, respectful and fun kids of all ages for our kids to play with. If you plan to visit, please be read all of the rules to make it easier on the staff. There were plenty of easily avoidable shenanigans that took place that did nothing but make it more difficult for the staff to keep it clean. This is a diamond in the roof and it’s rare for this area to have such a nice recreational area to play in so please keep it clean and please be respectful to the staff.

The employee zach went above and beyond to take care of me! He’s also very knowledgeable about the lake. The cabins are very clean. The park is very maintained. The boat rentals where a ton of fun.

Great place to stay! Friendly staff. The check-in building had a great assortment of items for purchase. Cabins were clean & nice. Beds comfortable. Plenty of room to spend time inside or outside. Plan to pack what you need, besides kitchenware. Quite campground. Bathhouse was well kept. Showers were nice. Beach area well kept along with park for kids. We stayed with a group. Was a nice place for that as you can walk to & from cabins. Glad we stayed l!

Stayed here as part of a group for a family reunion. Overall, our stay was great. We were in a two bedroom, one bath cabin..Cabin #15. It had a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. The air worked great and every room had a ceiling fan. The cabin had a nice little porch, fire pit, and a grill. The only complaint, our fridge was not working. They were not able to replace or repair it while we were there. Decided to stay in the cabin because it was right next to my mom and dad. Didn't cut me a break when I settled my account. Charged me the full price, even with a broken fridge. But I would definitely go back again.
