Rustic cabin near the Chattahoochee River. Has cable tv, full kitchen. Clean, affordable and the staff is great!

The reception center has went way down hill. No bait except worms in a fridge. And all the shelves with options are gon and there is 1 small cookie stand. Ladies working there were wonderful and polite

Beautiful, cozy cabin, just what I needed! Staff was so incredibly helpful before and after my arrival. Very accommodating. Very knowledgeable about the army base and information I needed for there. I would choose to stay here anytime I would be in the area.

Great place to get away and still be close to base and downtown Columbus. Clean, reasonable, and nice! The staff (Sarah and Deborah) were amazing. Larry, maintenance guy was super fun and fast to respond to anything you need. Highly recommend! Would stay again!

My biggest issue is that my 3 year old had a wart show up on her foot 2 days after spending 3 days at the camp and using the pool, splash pad, and shower in the unit (we wore shoes to use the bathroom at the pool) and in less than 2 weeks, that one wart has turned into 3, which is a clear indication she has been infected with HPV. Since we never leave the house except to go on that vacation, the only logical conclusion is that it happened here and their facility is not clean. I also had a burn on my finger from a few days before we left on vacation but was mostly healed but it’s also now a wart, so I was also infected with HPV. Beds are extremely uncomfortable. They also advertise the ability to sleep 8 people and that’s what we reserved and paid for but our executive chalet only had accommodations for 6 people. WiFi is spotty and unreliable. It’s there, but unreliable. You are expected to sweep before you leave and it’s clear with how dirty the floor was - our socks were turning black - that the housekeeper does not sweep or mop between guests. You also have to take out your own trash, so be prepared for that.

Absolutely loved this place. We stayed here when my son graduated boot camp and when he finished his training for active duty. Definitely recommend this for anyone else in same situation.

We rented a chalet. The cabin was not very clean, there were dead ants all over the bed upstairs in the loft. Beds were not comfortable. Camp hosts were kind and attentive, however the cabin was missing basic cooking amenities. Not sure we would stay again.

I had called the day before we arrived that if we should up earlier then expect if we could check in since we drove 16 hours without stopping for son army graduation. I was told yes that would be fine. The lady that checked us in was extremely rude and not friendly. I offered to pay for an extra day she said the can’t. But you welcome to rest in your car till three we arrived to check in at 10:00 am and said we can rest in our vehicle in the parking lot. Our front screen door was broken so it would slap in the wind. We could barely find plugs to charge phones and iPads had to buy extension cord to reach the loft for my son to charge his phone and laptop to do school work while we’re on vacation. In my opinion for 130 a night I could have stayed a nice air bnb and had a more pleasant time.

We have stayed at Uchee Creek in the large chalet twice in the past year for our son’s various ceremonies at Fort Moore. The cabins are rustic, and located in the woods. If you are expecting the Hampton Inn you will be disappointed. HOWEVER…. If you are expecting an nice cabin, with ample space, kitchen, shower, large couch, TV, and a large kitchen table that you and your family can sit around and eat, you’ll be very happy. There is also a nice deck with furniture. The WiFi isn’t great. Talk to your family :). There is a swimming pool, playgrounds, boat rentals, and a laundromat. It is close to Fort Moore and 2 hours from Fort Novosel. We will be back again.

Check in staff was so welcoming and helpful! Our site was perfect for our RV and spacious. They do not put people on top of eachother which resulted in ample privacy. Extremely peaceful and serene. We will be visiting this campground again.
